Margot: She nodded in agreement, leaning in a bit closer to him. “Oh, yeah. It’ll be nice to just kind of do whatever we want. No plans or anything to worry about.” It had been a while, probably far longer for Enzo, since there was just nothing to do but enjoy themselves. A break from everything else. “It was pretty nice of Jimmy and Bekah to do all the settling down for us. Now all that’s left for us are the fun parts,” she mentioned, her tone joking. Her and Enzo had been together the longest, she didn’t see this kind of settling down for them quite yet. The wedding was nice, and Jimmy and Bekah looked happy, but marriage had always sounded sort of suffocating - she liked having fun with Enzo, she wanted to keep that fun going forever.
Emma: She hadn’t forgotten her and Dante both agreeing that they intended to get married some day, ‘settling down’ sounding pretty appealing to her. Emma loved Dante more than anything, she was more than interested in everything that progressing their relationship had to offer. “Maybe we can just use this wedding as a blueprint so not as much planning will have to go into it. You know, whatever wedding comes next,” she suggested.
Bekah: She shook her head immediately at his apology, looping her arm through his and squeezing his arm gently. She hadn’t meant to make him feel like he had anything to apologize for, she just wanted him to know she understood if he needed space. “No, no, don’t apologize. I just don’t want you to get overspent - we should be having fun,” she assured him. “Besides, I don’t want you exhausted on our wedding night,” she added, her tone lighter to move away from the topic that might make him insecure about his feelings.
Dante: He chuckled a little and nodded. He didn’t know what else to say; for the first time it was him and not Enzo that was left feeling hopeless in the conversation. Part of him wanted to ditch and find somewhere else to go. He wasn’t sure what was going on with him.
Enzo: “Perhaps,” he replied to Emma. “Do you and Dante have any particular plans?” he teased. He doubted they already knew what their future would be, but since they jumped into their relationship so fast it truly wouldn’t surprise him if they did.
Jimmy: He nodded a little. “You’re right. I just don’t want to disappoint anyone, that’s all.” The wedding was rather small, only the closest friends and family were there so it was both really hard and really easy to disappoint them.
