He took a few seconds to steady himself before nodding at her. “It’s no big deal.”

"You alright? I didn't cause anything that I could be sued for, right?"

"I think he will. Hopefully a shove won’t be needed."

"Let's hope, boss-man."

She contemplates it for a second, then shrugs. “Burgers sound fine.”

"Good, because I'm craving an angus burger."

"Thanks. It should be pretty easy, I think. Luciano seems to have a decent hold on things, I’m just going to give him a little push."

"Maybe even a shove, if you want to make sure he gets it."

"You know, I actually haven’t yet. So that sounds great to me."

"Hell yeah. You in the mood for anything specific, or can we just go for burgers?"

She puts her phone back in her purse which she had the whole time. “Alright.”

"On a lighter note, have you eaten yet? We should grab a bite."

"That is an interesting way to phrase. Just remember, we don’t eat people. His name is Luciano — you’ll be seeing more of him soon."

"I'll try to keep that in mind. I look forward to it, then. Good luck with the training."

"Great. Be careful, he’s very… impulsive."

[jin-myung]

"Huh..." She paused for a moment before her smile returned, "Yeah, sounds good."

"Me? Not much, honestly. About to start training one of our newer recruits. He was a hunter over in Mexico and now he’s decided to join us."

"That so? Gotta love new meat."

[liezel-loshang]

She purses her lips in distaste at the memory of Roland. “Some hunter who came up here from Mexico. He’s about—” She brings her hand up to measure his height. “—this tall, black hair, green eyes. He’s responsible for blowing up a hotel room. Him and his family are not welcome in the city anymore, so keep your eyes open for them. Just tell Aiden if you see him around.” She takes out her phone and pulls up a picture of him to show her.

Eyes scanning over the photo, she stores the image away in the back of her mind, "Yeah, got it. I'll keep my eyes open."

“Puppy dog eyes? Is that what women see? No wonder.” He laughed quietly to himself for a few seconds. “How is it going, Jin?”

"It's going," she trailed off slightly, shrugging her shoulders, "What about you? You've gotta be up to something interesting, right?"

"It’s going fine, the usual. Have you been updated about the recent goings-on with the organization? With that Roland character?"

Her expression falters slightly, "Shit, no. What's going on?"

He stares at her for a few seconds, a smile working it’s way onto his lips. “Well, it’s nice to know someone thinks that I’m cute.”

She grins even wider at this sight of his smile, "I'm sure other people think that too, hun. You've got those big blue puppy-dog eyes that women usually eat up. Total cat-nip, I swear."

She nods. “Good. So, what’s new with you?”

[jin-myung]

"Aside from the pants? Unfortunately, nothing. That shopping trip has been the highlight of my week." She paused, raising an eyebrow, "What about you? How's the flower business?"

He tries to sound hurt. “Lizel likes my pickup lines. Alright, she actually just rolls her eyes, which I’ve come to assume is how she shows affection.”

Reaching out, she gives him a few sympathetic pats on the shoulder, "Hey, at least you're cute, right?"

She glances down at the yoga pants she’s currently wearing. “They do look pretty good on you. Have you been working out?”

She spins around to give Liezel the full view before turning back with a wink, "You know it. Every day!"
