JGU recently concluded a 3-week India immersion program with students from Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. The students participated in seminars and field visits with leading academics and professionals from a variety of industries. The course provides its participants with an introduction to India’s diverse regulatory, business and social impact landscape. Students visited the Supreme Court of India, the Jindal Steel & Power Limited plant, various NGOs and law firms.

JGU is pleased to announce the launch of its sixth school- Jindal School of Journalism and Communication. JSJC is the first interdisciplinary school of journalism and communication in the country which aims to train and groom the next generation of media leaders and generate a new vision on the future of democracy. We were honored to have at the launch, stalwarts like Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai , Prof.Tom Goldstein Professor & Dean Emeritus, UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, Prof. Peter H. Schuck Professor of Law Emeritus, Yale University and Ms. Pankaj Mittal Additional Secretary University Grants Commission along with a huge turnout of students and people from all walks of life.
