2. Oh my! What a racy little lass we've got here! A DEVIL shouldn't be so cute!
3. A good NURSE heals your wounds and steals your heart!
4. Our favorite goth girl in purple and black KUROMI!
5. Wow! This little ol' VAMPIRE is dressed to kill!
6. Fear not! This MAGICAL GIRL will save the day in a pink rush!
7. Such elegance! Those VINTAGE PUMPKIN and LETTUCE dresses are a real treat!
8. Who said a beautiful PRINCESS is only for little girls?

10. The foxiest BUNNY of them all!
11. A GREEN JESTER! What a charming (?) and quirky fella!
12. Your very own dutiful and lovely personal MAID!
*** If the Little Red Riding Hood (Nº1) or Vintage Pumpkin/Lettuce (Nº7) wins, there will be a shorter poll to choose your favorite option between the two versions of the costume! ฅ^ >ヮ<^₎

I just saw a post saying Willis Todd was abusive.
Y peor aún, vi una encuesta donde se preguntaba "¿quién fue el mejor padre para Jason?"
I'm barely active on this blog anymore but I'm coming out of retirement for haterisms BECAUSE WHAT THE HELL ARE WE TALKING ABOUT.
The dc fandom when a man who did crime to support his family but ultimately still loved and was proud of his son gets written as abusive in A RETCON but Bruce Wayne has been consistently mentally abusive to Jason since his Robin run (and was overtly classist the whole time) and has been physically abusive to him since his resurrection (but he's rich and "a good guy" so who cares ig).
I don't mind willis is abusive,But Catherine is a woman who loves her adopted son unconditionally. No one can change that!
I DO care about Willis being abusive because it's bullshit that adds nothing to Jason's story and actively flattens the more complex themes of abusive systems and cycles of poverty that have always been present in Jason's mythos
Willis my babygirl no stupid recon or alternate universe or illiterate fan base will make me hate you I know your heart
most of these panels come from rebirth outlaws
Jason's attitude toward Willis and Catherine is clearly different-if Willis had loved him as Catherine did, Jason would never have treated him differently! Besides, Jason doesn't need to learn "some people have no choice but to commit crimes" from Willis; he was a thief himself!
Abusive father willis could add a lot of complexity to Jason's story
The dynamic of an abusive Willis and a good mother Catherine adds far more complexity to Jason's story than the dynamic of a good father Willis and a good mother Catherine ever could.
In the low class of society, there are people like Catherine-who remain full of love and hope despite suffering, and people like Willis, who have been completely broken by pain and a corrupt system!
If we say everyone in Gotham's under class is just someone who commits crimes to survive, or they are all good people struggling to get by, and that there are no weak, broken people or people who already gone too far, that completely ignore the complexity Jason's background brings to his character.
The abusive relationship between Jason and Willis fills Jason with anger toward Willis, but also sympathy for him-and ultimately, Jason still loves him. Willis made Jason crave love, while Catherine taught him how to love. This also explains Jason's relationship with Bruce: even though they spent little time together, Bruce filled the void left by Willis, and Jason quickly projected his longing for a father onto Bruce. Meanwhile, after Bruce abused Jason time and time again, Jason felt anger toward Bruce, but deep down, he still loved him! Jason has grown all too used to this kind of abusive father-son dynamic-he has never had a healthy one.
But this is just my opinion
Willis having been originally written as a loving father and then being retconned to be abusive is the same as changing Cathy's cause of death from cancer to an overdose. They did it to fulfill classist stereotypes and to make Bruce look better by "rescuing" Jason from his horrible family. The same way they try to write Bruce as trying to stop Jason from becoming an "evil criminal" just like his dad. The same writers who write Willis as an awful guy either excuse that behaviour or use it to say Jason is awful too. There is no abusive Willis potrayal that isn't steeped in classism. Of course there are abusive poor people but turning every character that isnt a billionaire like Bruce and Tim into these awful mosnters or victims of said monsters that are rescued from their fates by "benevolent" billionaires (who are actually worse 9 time out of 10) is a damning pattern.
In his original appearance, after being distraught and bedrotting all day over Willis' death, Jason goes to avenge Willis. Jason loved Willis so damn much. That isn't to say victims can't love their abusers but that is to say Willis wasn't written as an abusive father until they wanted to make Bruce's actions look better in comparison. If you want to explore Jason having an abusive father, Bruce is right there.
Also if you like the abusive spin on the family for the tragedy because you find tragedy intersting, they're even more tragic without any abuse and frankly way more intersting than if they were just classist caricatures that have all the depth of a cardboard cutout.
From the very beginning, Jason has always had completely different attitudes toward Willis and Catherine: he is full of sympathy for Catherine, but he doesn't give a fuck about Willis being arrested at all.
Additionally, the idea that Catherine had cancer is fanon; all we know is that she was heavily ill. Of course, I agree that portraying "every character that isn’t a billionaire like Bruce and Tim as these awful monsters or victims of said monsters who are rescued from their fates by 'benevolent' billionaires" is classist! That’s precisely why I can’t accept Catherine being written as a terrible mother!
Framing both Catherine and Willis as good people to justify Jason being a good kid is just as classist as framing them as bad people to paint Jason as a bad kid—both rely on the same bloodline stereotype.
Catherine and Willis should represent two types of people in the underclass: one who still believes in love and hope, and the other who has fallen into irredeemable despair. Moreover, Catherine—who shares no blood ties with Jason—loved him unconditionally, and this is far more powerful than “Willis is a good peoson so Jason is a good kid” this bloodline stereotype.
I hate the "good father" portrayal of Bruce Wayne! I especially hate how DC uses Willis and Sheila to make Bruce look better! All three of them are both terrible!

I absolutely agree that fan artists can draw whatever they want.
But I’m still confused why they keep adding facial or body scars to Jason, but rarely include the one on his neck. It’s highly OOC for Jason to have facial and body scars, because the Lazarus Pit healed them.
However, the batarang scar on his neck is perfectly in character,so why is it so rarely seen in fanart? Why do fans keep ignoring such important parts of Jason’s story (the Lazarus Pit healing his body, batarang cut his throat)?
Is seems like even fans want to ignore the responsibility that Batman should take!😮💨
I'm starting to think that Jason was treated unfairly at DC not because of classism but because he questioned Batman.
Both DC and fans(batfamily fans)seem to want to ignore Batman's responsibilities.
And I guess that's why Jason's fans can’t get what we deserve
Red Hood issue cover art inspired from the Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt
Ofc Jason is the body (though perhaps prettier lol)
Very important to me that they keep the weird alien glow coming from the body and the fucked up hand
We can have Batman in the position of the doctor and various different parental figures dead and alive (including joker) as the students, maybe make it a fear toxin/mind prison kinda arc
For the fun of the game, I think pre-reveal Red Hood, should sneak inside the Wayne Manor, take books from the library, and circle with a red pen specific words and letters, so they would combine in creepy and spooky messages.
Imagine, you are Tim Drake, trying to get distracted from the case by reading a random book from the library, but then you notice the pattern, and suddenly, the book has some cryptic ass message with the "please, dad, save my soul, I am being tortured and cannot rest, until the clown dies. Your Jason" lines in it. I would honestly just leave this job.
We need more Protective Big Brother Dick/Cunning Little Slut Jason!
Dick really said "I accidentally got this kid's parents killed so I, an 18 year old who lives with a bunch of other barely-adults in New York, should adopt him"
The hug in costume is cute though <3

You should really ask yourself why it's so important to you that Jason, and only Jason, among the Bats should be the only ugly one. The terribly scarred one with no idea for wound care.

Jason was the happy Robin. THAT is his tragedy. He was the happy one. The one who obeyed, the one who was a genuinely good kid. He got to be the son. The first to be adopted. He was Bruce Wayne’s son before he was Bruce Wayne’s Robin and he was a good kid. Didn’t really rebel like the others.
When he rebelled he died. He died a soldier. Not a son. That’s how he’ll be remembered. He’s not remembered as Robin, and he’s not mentioned as a son. He’s simply there. A specter. Not important enough to be remembered, but too tragic to be forgotten. Haunted by the few who knew him.
When he was reborn, he wasn’t happy anymore. He was angry. Vengeful. When he was reborn, he wasn’t a son anymore. He didn’t obey. He rebelled. He was angry. He wasn’t that good kid anymore. He was Red Hood. A soldier. The soldier he was remembered as and never was in his life. The Arkham knight. The red hood. No one remembers he used to be a Robin. No one knew he used to be a Robin. And he pushes away his family. His father. Pushes away the old Jason he was who died in that warehouse, but he can’t let him go all the same.
Jason was both the perfect son, and the prodigal son.
Dick was the golden boy.
Damian is the one who’s had the title from birth.
Tim was the one who fought for it.
Jason was the first to truly have the title in every way—Except maybe blood—But he threw it all away. The other three always go back to claim it. Jason never will. Because he doesn’t want to be the son Bruce had anymore.
Or something like that idk I’m just saying shit 💀💀
