Day One: Posting! Enjoyable, productive posting.
*Two Hours Later: Someone has to go for some reason.
Day Two: No response.
Day Three: No response.
Day Four: No response, begin to wonder if they missed your post.
Day Five: No response.
Day Six: No response. Send them a reminder.
*Option 1): They tell you they missed it, and will work on it right away.
**Option 1a): Back to posting!
**Option 1b): Still no response.
*Option 2): They tell you they have it saved, and are working on it.
**Option 2a): A post comes along relatively quickly.
**Option 2b): Still no response.
Day 10: Still no response: Begin to convince yourself they have forgotten you.
Day 15: Still no response. Finish convincing yourself they have forgotten you. Either repeat Day Six steps, or worry that repeating Day Six steps will result in them hating you.
Day 20: Still no response. Begin to convince yourself that they hate you.
Day 25: Still no response. Convince yourself that you have not only been forgotten, but they do hate you, and clearly any time you contact them it is annoying, but find yourself still wanting to rp.
Day 27: Consider/try to start a new RP.
*Option 1) Success! Rping begins!
*Option 2) Restart Day One.
Day 30: Still no response. Try to convince yourself to unfollow, because it's easier, healthier, and you won't keep your hopes up.
*Option 1) Succeed, and unfollow.
*Option 2) Fail, horribly, and continue to be envious of everyone they post with.
Month 5: Still no response. Hold out vague hope that someday, they might remember you exist.
