This is the only logical conclusion Pyara Dana can come to. She's experiencing a psychotic break and has been hallucinating. That's much better than the alternative.

She looks down at her hand. At the conductor's baton she still clutches in said hand. It's white. No wait. She holds it up to the pristine white walls of Cadence Academy. Not quite white. White with a slight pink tilt.

Pyara looks at the baton again. It's very difficult to convince yourself something didn't happen when you have physical proof that it in fact did.

Even if she wasn't crazy, this still made no sense. Why would she of all people be chosen to protect the world? I mean, Kali is right there. Her older sister was bigger, smarter, stronger. Her only real problem was that she worried too much about Pyara. Not that Pyara blamed her overmuch. When your sister is the only family you have left then yeah. You worry.

I just rolled credits in a Dragon Quest game for the first time

Spoilers for DQ7

Quick thoughts:

Boy some of those stories were sad. And the worst part was figuring out what was going to happen right before the game tells you. I don’t think I’ve say “oh no” this many times in a game before.

Keifer leaving was a less than pleasant surprise.

Orgodemir was not.

Keifer returning was a pleasant surprise.

Maribel really grew on me. I’m look Ming forward to meeting her again in Heroes 2.

I *really* like the post final battle world tour.

I think the fake out in the middle of the game was pretty good though I wasn’t really buying it. That fight was way too easy. Maybe if it had phases.

I lowkey loved Euphonia.

I do wish there were more outfits and I wish the vocation outfit changes from the 3DS version were retained.

I also hope that if Final Fantasy 6 ever gets remade it’s like this and not HD2D.

Lastly, I really enjoyed the concept of the game. I had no idea it was about time travel shenanigans and rebuilding a shattered world and that really appealed to me. It’s also been a while since I played a game that felt like a grand ole adventure without dire fate of the world stakes. Yes the fate of the world was on my shoulders but it never got oppressive, ya know? All in all a very fun experience.

If you don't like the new update to tumblr, the best course of action is to go here and let them know directly.

Set the category as 'feedback' or one of the other options if you like, and tell them the issue. Don't be abusive. Just outline how this change negatively affects you or is detrimental to your experience of the site. If possible, mention positive elements that make you prefer Tumblr to other social media. It's clear that the people making these decisions don't really understand why we use it.

When you submit a support ticket, you'll get an email from the auto responder. You'll need to reply to that email or they assume the automated reply solved your problem and close your ticket.

I would suggest insisting a human address the issues raised in your support ticket when you reply. If you're not satisfied with the answer you get after that, escalate.

Suggestion: report not seeing tags/comments and seeing an inconsistent number of notes as a bug. If we treat this "update" as a bug, then maybe the staff will realise this "feature" is not working as intended and that users aren't getting it.

not only is this a good idea, but this IS a bug - if you reblog from anyone but OP directly, the notes vanish; i did some testing here

i don't think the update was meant to direct notes away from op if anyone reblogs it ever, leaving only tags, and no additional comment in the reblog. so.... that's broken. and should be reported.
