2005 - 2006 was a big Alpha phase. Before Parnis and those similar brands all we had was Alpha.

Alpha Yachtmaster
Manufacture: Alpha
Model: Yachtmaster style
Movement: Automatic
Complications: Date
Year Acquired: 2005
Status: Gone
2005 - 2006 was a big Alpha phase. Before Parnis and those similar brands all we had was Alpha.
Alpha "Planet Alpha" (Planet Ocean wannabe)
Manufacture: Alpha
Model: Planet Alpha
Movement: Automatic
Complications: Date
Year Acquired: 2006
Status: Gone
Alpha Handwind Chronograph (Daytona wannabe)
Manufacture: Alpha
Model: Chronograph
Movement: Unknown Asian hand wound
Complications: Chronograph
Year Acquired: 2006
Status: Gone
Another Alpha watch that didn't last too long. The 6 o'clock subdial was actually a running 24 hour hand on a 12 hour subdial if I recall correctly.
Alpha GMT (Explorer II wannabe)
Manufacture: Alpha
Model: GMT
Movement: Automatic
Complications: Date, GMT
Year Acquired: 2006
Status: Gone
One of a few Alpha watches. The build quality on these was always decent enough, but they never lasted long due to their logo and (obviously) derivative style.
Oris Classic Modern World Timer
Manufacture: Oris
Model: Classic Modern 7485
Movement: Automatic Cal. 690 (base ETA 2836-2)
Complications: Date, dual time
Year Acquired: 2006
Status: long gone
I wore this watch during a week long travel to Italy in 2006 and it was great. I love a GMT/dual time zone watch and really like the fact this was a "normal" 12 hour dial. At the time I thought it was a little small at 37.5mm but now I would wear the hell out of this. But alas, it's long gone.
Aeromatic Titan
Manufacture: Aeromatic
Model: Titan
Movement: Automatic Valjoux 7750 clone
Complications: Chronograph, day, date
Year Acquired: 2006
Status: long gone
Another Aeromatic and this one was a beefy bastard. Look how thick the thing was. One thing I can tell you now that I don't like is how thick the markers all are. Could have done from thinner sticks. I can't find any more info on this one from my old site on the Wayback Machine.
Aeromatic A1144 Pilot (Sinn 656 wannabe)
Manufacture: Aeromatic
Model: A1144
Movement: Unknown automatic
Complications: Date
Year Acquired: 2004
Status: long gone
Around this time in my collecting one goal was to find inexpensive watches that mimic the look of those more costly. Honestly I never really clicked with this one; the logo is goofy and the date window placement just seems odd.
Le Mans 24 Hrs Chronograph (Daytona wannabe)
Manufacture: Le Mans (?)
Model: Chronograph
Movement: Unknown Automatic
Complications: Chronograph, screw down crown and pushers
Year Acquired: 2006
Status: long gone
Found on eBay in April of 2006 for just over $200 US dollars. Quite a steal for an automatic chronograph.
