Not sure they ever continued this video but this was the first single off this extremely successful album for the Hailey brothers from Jodeci. They had just left Death Row records and the other set of brothers in the group behind when one of them, Devante (yes, that’s why there are a bunch of Devantes these days) got into drug and legal problems.

Swing also left behind a stable producers and singers known as the Swing Mob who produced and performed on Jodeci’s last to albums. The three most popular members being Missy Elliot, Timbaland and Ginuwine.

K-ci and JoJo dealt with alcohol abuse issues themselves but this album was amazing and had the most hit, “All My Life.” In 2016 Jodeci came back together and released an album with the help of Timbaland.

We tend to place a lot of emphasis on our circumstances, assuming that what happens to us (or fails to happen) determines how we feel.
