Everyone wants to write the characters like they're American. Frat aus, accents and dialogue where they say stuff like "Yer doin' s' good f'me" or something insane like that. I don't think it's concious discrimination but it starts to feel racist after a while of seeing it repeatedly from the same person.

omg do not get me STARTED i hate all those accent dialogues unless its a cowboy au but its never a fun au like that anymore but hmmmm i never thought about that i gained a new wrinkle i think every1 wants to be american because its a current trend to do college au but ur right
