Walking around looking at his surroundings, Scott couldnāt seem to find a place to set down his things. Looking up he saw Kristen with a cloud of smoke around her head. Walking up to her, he offered a smiled.Ā āLooks like youāve already gotten comfortableā¦ā Joking with her as he saw her cot from the outside slept in and the sleep in her eyes. He walked a few feet from her and set his stuff down and opened a camping chair. Settling down in it, he looked up at his phone and tried to dial a number.Ā āGoddamn itā¦ā his eyes looked up at her.Ā āNo receptionā¦āĀ
Kristen offered him a smile and sat in the entrance of her tent.Ā āI didnāt even try,ā she commented, taking a drag of her cigarette.Ā āDidnāt really care to though.ā She put out her cigarette next to her.Ā āNeed a beer?ā she asked, pulling one out of her tent behind her.Ā

bridgetreganss:
Of course like anyone, seeing what theyād be living around for the next few days was a must, so as Bridget made her way along the camp, her view was going up upon & along the trees trying to even catch a glimpse of something climbing Ā along them. As she walked, her focus was still being distracted until she halted in front of the woman before crashing right into her āā Iām already so taken by this placeā She offered Kristen a light smile before resting her on her own waist āSoā¦.how much of a camper are you? .Iām just full on waiting until someone gets freaked out enough to scream and run outta their tent one of the nightsā
Kristen laughed at Bridgetās remark.Ā āI am too, Paget and I plan to people watch for sure--I like the quiet, and I like being prepared, thatās the recipe for a good camping experience.ā She had no problem at all with sleeping in a tent in the wild, especially in a place so familiar.Ā āYou like the outdoors?āĀ

Demi had come back to the campsite after walking around a little bit . After leaving her bag in her tent, she went off on her own. It was pretty relaxing to be away from her phone

and work for the weekend. She was just walking by when she saw Kristen outside of her tent. Demi smiled,Ā āHey Kristen.ā She noticed the sleepiness on the other girlās face, looking like sheād just woken up.Ā āHave a nice nap?ā
Kristen looked up at Demi with a cigarette in between her lips and nodded, exhaling.Ā āItās pretty peaceful out here, I enjoyed it,ā she chuckled.Ā āAll settled in?ā she asked. She wondered what other things she could find to do, although she was just fine sitting by the fire with a beer, as long as she had bug spray and some comfy clothes on.

pagsbrewster:
It was nice to know she wasnāt the only one enjoying being disconnected from the world. Paget wasnāt particularly great with electronics but even so it was nice not to worry about a text, the phone ringing, or an email to be answered. Here people had to communicate, face to face, which was probably strange for some. āI didnāt even think of bugs.ā Her brown eyes widened before glancing towards the main lodge up the road. āI will be going up there to get some soon enough. The last thing I want is to look like a leopard.ā She laughed quietly. āI canāt tell you the last time I went but I think Iām going to like this trip. The weather is perfect, the company is pretty great, and itās nice to not have to worry about anything for a few days. I might end up with food poisoning if I try to cook over a fire, tho.āĀ
āOh, you can have some of mine, believe me, I have plenty,ā Kristen replied. She smiled when she mentioned cooking over a fire.Ā āWell luckily Iām a pretty good cook, so Iāll look out for you,ā she said gesturing to the firepit.Ā āI wouldnāt throw you to the werewolves and vampires either,ā she teased. A moment later she got up and glanced at her tent.Ā āIām gonna grab a beer,ā she stepped closer to her tent.Ā āIād offer one, but it looks like youāre set,ā Kristen chuckled.Ā
campground/9-4 afternoon
Kristen noticed Zayn come up next to her and she smiled with a nod.Ā āOf course,ā she replied, eyeing the type of cigarettes he had. She was always curious in what kind others likedāshe had always liked branching out in that department, but usually went with the same pack when she bought her own.Ā āIt is a lot nicer than most tents Iāve ever slept ināand Iāve already had a nap in it so I guess thatās a good sign.ā She took a drag, smiling when he mentioned almost tripping.Ā āAt least we have medics around if you end up tripping next time,ā she said optimistically. Kristen held up her lighter.Ā āNeed a light?ā she asked, offering the Bic in her hand.Ā
āAlready napping?ā Zayn arched an eyebrow, clearly impressed with it. Honestly considering that he had trouble sleeping while being home at the condos or at his parents home, he probably would be even worse off here, where he wasnāt comfortable at all considering vicious beasts and cold ground.Ā āI have a lighter, thanks.ā He said with a grin before showing off his own, lighting his cigarette up and taking a deep drag to calm his nerves.Ā āYou good at this then? The camping thing. I miss my phone to be honest.ā
Kristen shrugged.Ā āWhen youāve got the right gear.ā She smiled as she took another drag of her cigarette.Ā āI like being disconnected for a while,ā she admitted when she exhaled.Ā āUsually when I go out camping I bring a shit ton of beer and weed and Iām set. Thatās how I sleep,ā she chuckled. She wasnāt sure if she should have brought that up, but she didnāt necessarily care either. Zayn has that stoner sense about him, but she could be wrong. If she recalled correctly the joint was the only thing that had helped her sleep earlier, being deprived of sleep for a couple days. When she got the chance to be disconnected and in a private, safe area, she had no problem celebrating.Ā
campground/9-4 afternoon
Kristen lifted her chin in Matthewās direction, acknowledging his wave. She gave him a small smile as she rested a cigarette between her lips and lit it. She furrowed her eyebrows.Ā āHuh?ā she asked, not quite understanding.Ā āOh,ā she chuckled, exhaling the smoke.Ā āYou have no idea.ā She had spent a lot of time in Washington while filming Twilight. She missed the weather and how green it was. She didnāt think she would ever have a reason to come back here, but here she was.
Light laughter fell from his lips at the womanās confusion. Traveling left a few people frazzled, so he understood.Ā āI can only imagine.ā Matthewās gaze traveled the trees around them.Ā āAt least itās a beautiful place to remember.ā And that was an understatement; the scenery was very green and lively.Ā āYou could have flashbacks of inner city garbage and other gross things. I will say that I donāt know if Iām looking forward to the animal noises at night, though. I imagine theyāre abundant⦠though, we could all just join in.ā
Kristen laughed.Ā āYou know what? I think Iāll join you, depending on how many drinks and things are in my system.ā She liked talking to Matt, she had never interacted with him before, and so far she enjoyed his conversation. She could tell they both had a different way of thinking, and she liked how that felt.Ā āItās pretty peaceful right now, though, itās nice to just sit and listen.Ā
campground/9-4 afternoon
Kristen took a drag of her cigarette and laughed at Pagetās comment.Ā āGod, I hope not,ā she replied. She had a feeling she would be hearing that the whole weekend. She didnāt mind, though, itās not like she was trying to push Twilight our of her filmography.Ā āBut you never know what can happen,ā she said suggestively, with a smile.Ā āReady to people watch?ā she asked Paget, remembering their amusing conversation they had about the weekend ahead.Ā
It was nice that Kristen wasnāt completely against the series since people would be teasing her. The last thing anyone needed to do was upset Kristen. The girl seemed pretty damn laid back and awesome to Paget which was rare in their line of work. āI mean you are one of the most powerful so Iāll just expect you to protect me.ā She joked before sitting down on a log around the unlit campfire. āIāve been ready to people watch since I got here!ā She lifted her thermos. āI even made sure I had wine to help me enjoy.ā Laughing she popped the top and took a drink. āWhat about you? Are you a big camper?ā
āThatās true, I am a pretty badass vampire,ā she replied smiling. Kristen sat next to Paget as she finished her cigarette.Ā āI do enjoy being disconnected, actually, and I donāt mind having to do my business in the woods--but I do hate bugs, so I made sure to bring a huge as can of bug repellent.ā She put out her Marlboro on the log and rolled the butt around between two fingers, not wanting to litter.Ā āDo you like camping?ā
campground/9-4 afternoon
Eyes opened and the ceiling of a tent hung above her. Kristenās eyes shifted around, taking in each detail of what was around her. She hadnāt even realized she had fallen asleep on the cot inside her tent. Once she had set her things down she lied down and dozed off.Ā āShit,ā she muttered under her breath, almost surprised. She sat up and ran her hands through her hair, soon taking her backpack and unzipping it. She grabbed a pack of cigarettes, along with a lighter, and stepped outside.Ā
Zayn was pleased to see that he wasnāt the only one who might end up setting fire to the woods with a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, and he gave Kristen a nod as he walked up to her.Ā āMind if I join you?ā He asked, nodding to the cigarettes and to his own pack of them.Ā āIs your tent comfortable? More luxury than the condos?ā He asked with a little grin, biting his lip as he had finished speaking.Ā āI kind of almost tripped as I was getting out of mine to be honest.ā
Kristen noticed Zayn come up next to her and she smiled with a nod.Ā āOf course,ā she replied, eyeing the type of cigarettes he had. She was always curious in what kind others liked--she had always liked branching out in that department, but usually went with the same pack when she bought her own.Ā āIt is a lot nicer than most tents Iāve ever slept in--and Iāve already had a nap in it so I guess thatās a good sign.ā She took a drag, smiling when he mentioned almost tripping.Ā āAt least we have medics around if you end up tripping next time,ā she said optimistically. Paget Brewster couldnāt remember the last time she went camping. While most would be freaking out over the loss of electronics for the weekend, she was more than happy to be disconnected. After a quick shower in the surprisingly clean public bathrooms, the actress dropped her things in her tent and went for a walk. A smile pulled across her face when she saw Kristen loitering outside her tent. āHey, Bella!ā She teased with a smile and a wave. āShould we expect to see wolves and vampires fighting over you this weekend?ā
Kristen took a drag of her cigarette and laughed at Pagetās comment.Ā āGod, I hope not,ā she replied. She had a feeling she would be hearing that the whole weekend. Matthew had spent majority of their short lived plane ride trying to talk the stewardess into letting him pocket some of the airplane bottles of vodka with a smile on his face. It was five oāclock somewhere, right? That was the story he was going to stick to, at least. Standing outside of his tent with a light cardigan on, he strapped a fanny pack to his waist and stretched out.Ā āHey.ā A hand shot up to wave in Kristenās direction.Ā āHaving any flashbacks yet?ā
Kristen lifted her chin in Matthewās direction, acknowledging his wave. She gave him a small smile as she rested a cigarette between her lips and lit it. I wake up to Cole sitting right next to me staring at me, and then we just kind of look at each other for a moment and then she puts her paw on my arm and nudges me to get up. What do you neeeed?
Sheās just lettinā you know sheās there! And that she loves you oh so much. Thatās what I tell myself when Hatchi touches me when Iām walking up. Or they ought to go out. Who can be sure though?Ā
I know, I wish I could read her mind or communicate with her somehow. That would be awesome. But then I probably wouldnāt care to be around humans, so itās probably for the best.Ā
If your leadership includes more of these days, I wonāt try and overthrow you. Also hi, Iām Kristen.
So, if I ever for some reason decree something that you donāt approve of, will I have to worry about you as a poosible usurper?
Maybe...but I donāt want that responsibility so you can have it.Ā
I can never fall asleep easily unless Iām either stoned or drunk. Even if Iām super tired. Iām the same way though, if my body is begging for it thatās what works.Ā
Funny, iām the complete opposite with that. Ā Though when i need or wana sleep most of the time my bodyās likeĀ āNoā, yet when itās times i have to work or canāt sleep my bodyās likeĀ āOh letās find Ā somewhere to sleepā .
I donāt get how that happens. Why canāt we just get our shit together and fall asleep when we need to? This doesnāt make sense.Ā
Oh my god.Ā
I wouldnāt want to be a monkey in thatĀ barrel.
Nor would I like to be all the toys sitting there watching.Ā
Iām just ready to sit back and watch everyone struggle to live in the wild for a weekend.Ā
That is going to be the best part!
Thatās what Iām looking forward to the most. That, and getting out of the city.Ā
