Don't they say the water is always bluer on the other side? A 45 minute hike lead us to this neat overlook of Devil's Lake, but we found ourselves wishing we were down there in those boats. We promptly hiked down for a swim in the cool water. (at Devil's Lake State Park)

Colorado back roads gracefully endure the change of seasons in the high alpine. Sometimes we turn down a road that was in great condition only months earlier to find it nearly impassible today. Other times we're pleasantly surprised to find a former rough road in good shape.That makes every ride unique and interesting. (at 11 Mile Reservior)
