Today I remade a granny muumu into a super cute romper with pockets and I feel pretty good about my sewing skills r/n
Nugget's Chihiro costume is done
TBT: I love unicorns <3
y’all I made a thing
I’ve never seen a nice lady giant in any storybook, so here’s one with trees on her head
I’m curious why this artist saw a need to include women but decided it’s best to make the woman white or fair toned. Like women come in a variety of skin tones why is the default always white or white passing women? You didn’t think about that? Telling.
She’s based on my grandma. She was a very tall woman and had recently died when I drew this (just didn’t want to be a downer when I posted it). Additionally, whenever I do a fairy tale person, there are better than even odds that that person will be at least one of two things: nonwhite, not skinny, not young, and not conventionally attractive. It’s actually a rule I have to avoid bias in my art and to practice drawing many kinds of people and depicting them in a positive way (because fairy tale stuff is what I do for fun/practice. I rarely get hired to do this kind of art and am only making it for my own enjoyment.) I am sorry if you felt personally alienated by my art. It was not my intention.Â
Wow your art is amazing I apologize for the misinterpretation
It’s cool, friend! Again, I’m sorry for how you felt. I should probably do more giant women, anyway. I’ll make sure the next one is a POC <3Â

Super fast and loose color study. Not 100% happy with it but there are bits of it that I like!
Someone dared me to do a Star Wars thing so I did a Star Wars thing.
Just did my first work process time lapse video ever and kinda excited!
I’ve started plein air painting again. The tree was painted at City Park and the ship was on the river at the fly. I was given canvases for xmas and someone gave me 2k dollars worth of expensive large tubes of oil paints that they found in a garbage bag on the street wtf!!!
I was hired to do an inclusive children's bible and idk but it's funny to me that black Adam and Eve would be some kind of fringe/niche thing since the first humans were black. Anyway, I'm happy with this first spread and I'm especially happy with my cute curly-haired Eve because she is the cutest and the happiest and I'm not even mad that she ate that fruit she can have whatever she wants 😂
Little commission
When you're taking inktober a little too seriously 😂
