juliamichaels: I really have no words for times like these. Some songs are harder for me to sing than others. Sometimes I have to relive memories that I try to suppress. Memories of people I loved but refused to let love me back. Memories of people that said “I love you” and then left. Memories of someone using the word forever but while mine meant a lifetime, there’s meant a moment. Flashbacks of people I wish I hadn’t pushed away. I think about all the things I wish I could have changed had I been a bit wiser and a bit more self aware. But I see these lights go up. And I see you sing those songs with me that break me a little. And I feel so much lighter. And so much less alone. Because of you. So thank you. So much. ❤️
