I didn't know my final piece for art school would be a political one. The events from last week changed my entire view on our country so I felt the need to change my entire piece which was photo work, to this. Brain Cell

Hey everyone,

I haven't updated this in awhile or posted any photos in awhile. So I figured I would give the internet a update.

I have been in a really bad creative rut lately and a large chunk of it has been because of school. I have been in a place mentally that I have never been in before, where I feel like I have no creative ideas. The last few months have been a killer mentally where I noticed that school was not helping me flush out ideas which is ironic because thats not what art school is supposed to do. The holidays and this long break is exactly what I needed to gather myself back up and start putting together zines / books again.

It really dawned on me how bad it was because I still haven't released Summer of Shred from 2015 yet. I put it on the back burner because I couldn't fathom putting more on my plate and another thing to take me away from school. So I ended up overwhelming myself so much where I ended up shutting down and not do anything. I hate knowing that this issue of SOS is suffering because people have been asking about it and I haven't put the work into it that it deserved.

Well, Im changing all that now. Im happy to say that Summer of Shred is coming out a long with another zine titled ‘Ive Neglected You, Ive Neglected Myself’

Im ready to get myself back on the photo horse and start putting out more zines. Im sorry to everyone who has asked about SOS and I couldn't answer. I really hope none of you have to experience shutting down like this because it sucks.

Summer of Shred will be out next month. This summer was quiet for me and very much a challenge to shoot. I've thought a lot about weather or not I can put out an issue this summer compared to last year. But I've come to the conclusion that I shouldn't compare any issue to each other. So Summer of Shred issue # 5 will be out in one month. Here's a shot from it.
