This was awkward.
How had he ended up roped in this situation? Jimin wasn't sure but he knew that he wanted out of it. The soldier had been excited to spend some time with his hyung in one of his days off and one thing led to another and now he was in the same room as Yeri and his Jin hyung was nowhere to be found. Amazing, the singer thought grumpily.
"Where did he go?" Jimin grumbled as he looked around, eyes moving around the room, never lingering anywhere other than his ex. "Well, if there is nothing else to do, I'm leaving..." While the singer was usually on the sweeter side he was still a bit petty with his companion. "Days off away from the military are special after all."
Tae: KLDFDJSF I had to get a new phone!! Tae: Idk where I lost my old one :((( Tae: You're always going to be in my heart, Jiminshi Tae: OK so I don't feel too bad about forgetting

Wooyoung had waited patiently for his opportunity to try out the new cafe down the street from his dorm, and now that they were back from tour, he could finally go. It was fairly busy, filled with fashionable people and workers that made him question his jean shorts and Vans combo. As he made his way inside, he noticed a familiar face in the queue and walked over to say hello. "Hey," he called out, "have you been here before?"
Jimin had been given a couple of days off from service and he was enjoying them as much as he could. Going back at home and visiting his parents, sleeping in his own bed after so long was amazing and now he was on his way to try a new cafe before his freedom was over and he was back to his station. The idol had been lost in his thoughts, trying to pick a drink when a familiar voice called him. "Oh." He said in surprise. "Hey!" A smile quickly forming on his lips, eyes dissapearing over his mask. "No, it's my first time...i haven't been out much lately." He chuckled at his joke.
Tae: Is this still your number? Tae: What was that show you were telling me about? Tae: LKDF we talked about this months ago buuut I sort of forgot 👉🏻👈🏻

❛ i didn't expect to see you here— ❜ taemin hadn't dressed for an official outing, not expecting to run into anyone that he might know on this random afternoon. a craving for something refreshing led him to a cat cafe that served bubble tea. drink in hand, cat lounging sleepily in the other, he hadn't really made any plans to be spotted or social when the familiar face waltzed in, evident by the oversized t shirt and baggy pants that adorned his frame. ❛ you can join, if you'd like? ❜

Jimin's life in the military went slower than he would have imagined, used to fast paced schedules and days that turned into nights in the blink of an eye but not there. Days were long and nights were short, though luckily days off made it go faster, and so in one of his days off, after meeting with some friends Jimin found himself in a cat cafe though a pleasant surprise awaited him there. "Oh!" The expresion of surprise quickly turned into a smile at meeting his friend. "I was about to text you and tell you I was in Seoul for my day off." He chuckled as he approached him, what a fun coincidence.
Taehyung knew he shouldn't have favorites. Certainly not when you had a group of seven close friends, but it was no surprise that Jimin was his. The time spent at the military was going by faster than he expected with befriending those he worked with yet, he felt a part of him missing once he thought about home. That's what made this reunion and every one after that extra special.
The vocalist was already running in the direction of his soulmate once he was in clear view. "Jimin-ah!!!" Voice boomed in the air when he dashed in the other's direction. Arms already spread out, ready to capture the shorter one into his arms. It was second nature to wrap his arms around his best friend, carrying him off the ground with ease and gave him a spin around like they did in the movies. Once satisfied with the greeting, he placed Jimin back on the ground. "You've gotten much bulkier!" His smile spread ear to ear and he gave Jimin's arm a small squeeze.
Jimin was happy to be once again by Taehyung's side even if it was just for a moment. He loved all his members, his brothers with all his heart but everyone knew that taehyung and him shared a different sort of bond, a deeper one that came with being the same age and their antics showed just how that worked for them. Jimin was a giggling mess as he was caught by the other, he had missed this so much.
The spins only made the idol's giggles turn into full laughter as Taehyung spined them around before placing him down. A wide grin slipping on his lips as his chest puffed out at the sudden praise. "I am" Of course that had to go along a playful flexing of his muscles. "But so have you, Taehyung-ah! Look at you, ready to make army faint...and nayeon too I'm sure." He teased, mischief sparkling in his eyes.

rosé’s plea for help had been sent to just about every contact in her phone, the minutes with no replies passing by as slow as the lingering raindrops crawling down her back. she was weighing the possibility of calling a cab when the notifications from jimin illuminated her screen. despite his enlistment, they spoke frequently these days, engaged in a relationship so shamelessly flirtatious one might incorrectly assume they were anything more than friends. they weren’t, of course, but it had been so long since someone got her heart racing the way he did, and so she indulged.

jimin quickly got in his car as he texted the last messages to her before turning on the GPS to guide him. Soon the car roared to life and left the underground parking of his building straight into the rain. The idol could only hope that the heavy rain scared other drivers out of the way instead of making them slower, not wanting to keep rosé waiting for longer than necessary.
His fingers tapped in the steering wheel as he waited for a red light turn green, speeding away at the change of color and making his way to her. As soon as he spotted her trembling figure, he turned the heater right away hoping to warm her frozen frame. The car stopped in front of her and as the window rolled down there he was clad in a bucket hat and a mask. "Your carriage is here." He smiled.
jake: hyung, you can't ask for a day off just to have fun? jake: i'll enjoy it for you!

Jimin missed his brothers, the military time spent away from eachother felt unnatural to him after being used to be by their side 24/7, specially when it came to Taehyung, so it was safe to say that the man was vibrating with excitement at seeing his friend once again after months of being apart and only relying on text messages to talk.
"Taehyung-ah!!!" Jimin yelled dramatically as soon as his eyes landed on his soulmate while running in his direction knowing Taehyung would understand his antics and reply to them as a second nature, it had always been like that and Jimin was sure that not even the military could change that about them. His arms were extended and as soon as the distance was barely there Jimin jumped right into his fellow 95'liner's body, he knew that Taehyung would catch him with his new strength or they would fall together to the floor. Either way giggles were already falling out of his lips.

huddled beneath an unreliable bus stop awning, rosé’s cold fingers fumbled for her phone, hoping that the leather of her purse would have been enough to protect the device from the torrential downpour that unexpectedly spoiled her evening stroll. sandal – clad feet squelched as she shrank further away from the heavy sheet of rain, wiping the touch screen clean of any stray drops with an already damp sleeve so she could type up a quick text message.
rosé: SOS ... i’m stranded in the middle of this storm rosé: think you could come and rescue me?
Days off were a blessing, whenever they came he was off to meet his family or went back home to his apartment on seoul aching for the familiar place, to rest on his own bed. He had been lying down on his couch, the tv playing loudly as noise while he goofed on his phone when it pinged with a new message. Eyes sparkling with mischief as his lips parted in a smile when he saw who had sent it. The arm that had been resting behind his head now used to push himself off the couch as he texted back.
jimin: will you call me your prince charming, then? jimin: or will i be your knight in shining armor? jimin: drop me your location, beautiful.
