I just have a darker personality. And my sister being blonde and me being brunette, it’s a good separation. I put a blonde wig on and think it would be fun to go back, but I’m happy with my hair. Blondes are so angelic. My sister can get away with anything.

Benin felt a warm hand on his shoulder. With a jerk he turned around, ready to attack, but instead of a tribute on their offense he was shocked to find his older brother Oman standing next to him on the bleachers. He lowered the hand that was about to strike, realizing just now that it was devoid of a weapon anyway. Hadn’t he been holding a bat just then?

O, always the one who never needed words to convey what he was feeling, drew Benin into a hug, and the tribute relaxed into his older brother’s arms.

Leggo || Day 3

After ridding myself of the boy from Eight, I limp onwards with the newly found keys in my hands. Even though I sustained some minor injuries, I came out okay. Tossing him through the window proved to be worth it to be honest. I just hoped everyone else could have seen it. 

Passing back through the cornucopia, I make my way south west-ish and head for the high school I was at the day earlier. From what I can remember, I think I saw some lockers in the hallway with our named inscribed on them. The thought of what laid inside never left, I just didn’t have a key yet. If only there were some way to unlock whatever goodies lay inside now… Oh, wait, I have keys… If Bush did 9/11 and Dick Cheney profited off the Iraq war and four plus four equals eight… Do the math, I’m gonna do a little thing.

Coming through the front door, I push my way to the lockers and investigate just whose keys I have. Aquarius’s was the first one pulled, so after a little debate, I slide my key in his locker and proceed to open it.

Inside the locker you find a grappling hook. If you take it, you have to give up something in return inside the locker. What do you do?

I take the grappling hook and replace the empty with my diamond paper weight. 

After that I rest up.

Waking up on the third day, Jo is floored to discover once again she was being tossed out on her ass. She had a shout in her throat, prepared to throw a tantrum on whoever ordered this, but fought against it after seeing another person lying in front of the door. 

Jo recognized the outfit, donning the eight insignia on his jacket. After a few confusing seconds, she was keen to him being another tribute. The two had never met, but under these circumstances, they would be sure to never meet again.

Moving On || Day 2

Hmmm. Must be some kind of message from Joanne, The Scammer. No thanks, she lives life on the dirtier side. Instead of going inside, I quietly shut the door from room 2 and return to the hallway. 

I make my way to room 6 on the other side of the hall and open the door, looking for either a place to sleep tonight or goodies.

The next room you go into is a little dark but you can still make out that it, too, is another auditorium room. Looking up, you gasp as you see what looks like an extremely realistic version of our star system painted on the roof. What truly astonishes you is that the contents of the ceiling seem to be moving; the planets, stars, everything.

Wow. The stars at night, are big and bright *clap clap clap* deep in the heart of... Panem. No but for real, as I move in to the darkened room, I’m amazed to see something so utterly beautiful. Stars and planets that appear to be right in front of me. I could fall asleep to this, thats for sure. 

I just might actually.

After checking the room, I lock the door behind me and lay down for bed, watching the planets and stars.

Moving On || Day 2

You stumble upon what appears to be a regular auditorium sized classroom. There’s rows of desks that increase in height the further back they go and there’s a little stage with a podium for the professor. There also doesn’t appear to be anybody in the classroom, either. Looks like you’ve caught a break.

On the chalkboard on the wall, you see a message written in pink chalk and in extremely beautiful cursive handwriting; “Return Tomorrow for Class on Scamming, Robbery, and Fraud!”

Underneath the large message, you see something tinier. It’s hard to read, though. Do you move closer and inspect the small handwriting.

Moving On || Day 2

Ridding myself of room 8, I move out and look around the first floor of the college. I had yet another temporary setback fighting those mutts. It seems as though I can never find the right room. I must be either doomed, or purposely picked it. I don’t know why, I mean I’m a fun girl?

Coming around to room 2, I slowly turn the knob and peer inside.

Tittle || OS

Just as my eyes begin to settle on the pages of the blue book, I’m interrupted by the shuffling of feet and desks. I flick my eyes upwards in following the sound of commotion, spotting all three of the now alert test takers and their mangled appearance. I’m immediately both surprised and turned off, dropping the booklet by my feet. They appear ugly, and scarred. Something that has never walked the earth as a human before. Something created in a lab. Mutts. 

“Ok, maybe I’m not your sub.”

Like a switch, they rise to their feet, armed to the teeth with makeshift school supplies as weapons. Each of them ready to destroy me. I move away from the desk in enough time and swing my bat out in a defensive maneuver. It luckily connects to the boy on the left and strikes his temple. The boy sways under the blow and tumbles to the ground.

“The answer to number 6 is Guam,” I call out. 

Like the head of a hydra, two other mutts quickly move in replaces their fallen classmate. My eyes widen as both of them lunge at me with their sharpened rulers. I strike without thought and manage to break off the tip of their rulers. Before I could finish them off, I feel a tug and a slight burning sensation at my leg. I look down and notice the first fallen mutt is at my feet and haphazardly scraping my thighs with a half broken pencil. My bat promptly finds its way around to his head and repeatedly smashes into the middle of his face.

As he taps out like a bitch, I bring out the taser from my pocket and freely jump atop of the other mutts. They bow under my weight to which I place my boots on their heads and pin them down. I flip the taser to on and safely fry their ass to kingdom come. 

Brushing my hair out of my face, I hop off the mutts and smile as all three lie motionless on the ground. Righteous. I pick up the fallen blue booklet again and carefully begin reading all of the answers to the test out loud.

Saved By the Bell || Arena Day 2

No thank you. Them ignoring my obvious and oh so hilarious, crazy, spunky, funny, uniquely qualified antics was enough for me to move on.

I move quietly towards the teachers desk instead, opening the drawers for any goodies to replace my lost pain killers and venomous spider.

In one drawer, you find a paperweight thats shaped like a diamond. It’s tacky as hell, but it could definitely be used to bludgeon someone.

In another, you find a blue booklet labeled “TEST ANSWERS”. Do you take the booklet out?

I pocket the paperweight while flashing a look upwards and put in my jacket pocket opposite of the taser. 

Upon further investigating, I come across what appears to be a test answer booklet. I proceed in carefully pulling it out and begin reading its contents.

I enter the room, trying my best to blend in despite my outfit. 

“Good afternoon,” I call out to the students as they sit quietly at their desk. “I believe I am your sub for the day.”

As you walk in front of the class, you look at the bodies and are shook to find that all of them are taking a test of some sorts. They pay you absolutely no mind as they scribble at the blue sheets of paper placed before them. In fact, their faces are so buried in their work that you can’t see them properly.

Do you perhaps try to get their attention again?

“Bye my ass,” I mutter as I dust myself off and head back inside. 

This time I wouldn’t be as dumb. I’ll shut my mouth and be a little nicer. Grateful is the word I’m looking for. 

Entering through the college doors with a different mindset, I make an immediate path into a larger room on the first floor labeled “8.″

Upon opening the door, you see what appears to be a regular classroom. There are desks, a board, and the walls are covered in supportive posters and things of that nature. The only thing a little bit off, though, is the few students that are sitting silently in the class.

What do you do? Do you check on them?

She merely chuckles at your crying. For good measure, she presses the button again, this time only delivering another mild shock. However, the shock was enough that you fell over once more. As you grovel at Agatha’s feet, you hear her press another button, this time one that didn’t shock you.

“Excuse me, can someone come and get this teen out of my room. I think she’s a bit lost." 

Suddenly, the door opens and in walks a skinny girl, about eighteen or nineteen years old, with a neon pink wig on complete with bangs to cover up the horrible scars and ugliness that smear her face. Across her chest is a white sash with turquoise writing that says: "Hall Monitor” on it. She looks at the girl shaking on the floor, sighs, and then drags her out by her feet. Just before Jo leaves, she makes eye contact with Agatha who merely smiles back.

“Oh, and before you take her away, take away those glass jars and the rest of her pain killers. She won’t need them.”

Nodding, she reaches into Jo’s items, takes out the noted ones and then leaves them on Agatha’s desk. She then  drags Jo down the stairs and through the halls. Eventually, she makes her way to the front door, opens them, and then tosses Jo out.

“Bye!” The girl says before closing the doors, leaving a very shook Jo to think about what just happened and recover.

“Oh, Jo…” Agatha lightly sighs as she bites her lower lip, analyzing the girl standing h her. “I thought we agreed that it isn’t very cute when you use your potty mouth.”

Jo, suddenly, remembers her punishment. She opens her mouth but is unable to stop Agatha as she opens her phone, clicks an app, presses a button on said app, and then sends a deep, very harmful electric shock all throughout Jo’s body.

“It doesn’t suit you.”

A sudden bolt of electricity surges though my neck and out through my entire body. For a split second, I thought I died... Once again, I’ve let my mouth get the best of me.

The shock forced me to drop my items and topple over. A strong sour sensation churns in my stomach, like when I have to shit. My hands claw against the floor as I try to get over the pain.

“Why,” I cry out. “Why are you doing this?”

I move from the stairs and carefully step inside the room with a number 12 on it, hoping it was my lucky number.

When you enter the room, you notice that it isn’t a classroom. No, it appears to be an office of some sorts. You look around, mesmerized at the sheer minimalistic beauty of the place. It’s all white and accented with turquouse. The desk, the chair, even the–

“Were you never taught to knock, Jo” The familiar voice rings out and causes the hairs on the back of your neck to stand on edge. You turn around just in time to see a familiar face swiveling around in her chair to face you.

“Long time no see.” Agatha says as she clicks her fingers on the edge of her plush chair.

“What the fuck,” I gasp upon seeing Agatha. 

This isn’t real, she isn’t real. It can’t be! It’s an illusion or a mutt... I can’t be feet away from a person of power in a battle royale... She put us here and now she’s reveling in it. Part of me admired that malicious spirit, the other part screamed to run. 

Trying to play it cool, I compromise both notions and advance in a non-hostile manner closer to the gamemaker. “Hey, girl hey.”
