isn’t it so precious that we can awaken so many emotions in this life?
why should there be a need to suppress our natural rights when it is the sanctity of mortality
to feel and be present in our passions, our tenderness is not one to be concealed, but to be relished,
for there comes a time when we no longer exist synonymously with our soul.
women cannot even experience the full cycle of womanhood without the presence of male perversion
“Nothing is ever as beautiful as the first isolated moments with someone who might be able to love you — with someone you yourself might be able to love. There is nothing as silent as these minutes, nothing so saturated with sweet anticipation. It is for these few minutes that we love, not for the many that follow. Never again, they realize, would anything so beautiful ever happen to them. They might be happier, more impassioned, too, and infinitely satiated with their own bodies and with each other’s. But never again would it be so beautiful.”

“Language is one of the ways we breach the barrier between one person’s body and another’s. It’s one of the ways we connect one mind with another. It also helps us understand ourselves and make solid what often exists as air. Sometimes, I think of language as cartography for thoughts. But like all maps, no language can represent the world exactly.”
— Benjamin Garcia, interviewed by Mag Gabbert for Underblong

The visual beauty of Michael Fokine's Scheherazade.....
the feeling after you leave a gig is something that resembles no other ! it truly makes you feel alive. being in the same venue as your favourite artist as well as others who possibly discovered them at the same time as you and, have unknowingly created a sacred bond that had been established under the guise of being a fan is so sentimental. although your feet ache from standing and dancing for hours while appreciating the tunes that were played and being in awe of your surroundings, it’s as if time grows more selfish. the hours turn to minutes and you’re left with only a recollection of the night from the blurry pictures you took and videos with your off key singing in the background. I relish in these moments as it reminds me to savour my experiences and only indulge in things and surround myself with people that truly and deeply make me feel alive in this new age of my 20s.
