Week 13: The First (Heat) Wave
Didnt expect Philippines to be this scorching hot during the defense week. It seems like it affected my mood too when we were presenting for sntdev. *phew!!* Fortunately, our machine project was fine and dandy. It was an ice on my boiling water i swear. And im really glad i have my teammates by my side. I realized everybody has strengths and weaknesses. It is vital for the leader to know these things to make every one productive in the team. Plus, trust needs to be present in the equation as well. And this, mah friend, is the secret to one helluva team. Woo ONE LAST PUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hafta admit i look hotter than my chris tiu HAHAH
Week 12: On Fulfilling Dreams (Subtly)
Remember my dream of being architect?? Yeah? Great. But have I mentioned my dream house yet?? Nope. I don't think so. The plan has already been in the deepest vault of my brain ever since i was a child and it was f l a w l e s s . Until this week's infosec lesson: subtle but unbelievably effective ways to provide security for everyone (except em criminals lol). I realized I could still improve my blueprint by integrating security measure to the aesthetic design as well. THAT WOULD BE JUST PURE GENIUS. The goal is to have a lara croft like mansion that does not attract much enemies because of the built in security precautions taken by the design and whatnot. But to be honest the tru goal is just to be lara croft. CAN I GET AN AMEN amen THANK U Anyway, I think this week was by far the most interesting week simply because genius designs by genius people. Bless.
Week 11: The Frustrated Architect
Ever since I was a kid, I have always wanted to be an architect. But little did I know that a person could also be an architect despite taking comsci. To be honest, computer networking is not a subject I'm particularly good at. Maybe because I still lack fundamentals or it is too much for my pea-sized brain. But that doesn't mean I'll give up. Besides I have one helluva prof. Who is currently mad at us. HUHUHUH *commercial break* I've been really siiiiiiiick since Wednesday til today. Fever is usually 39.9 and blood pressure of 80/60. I'm scared I might die next week (who knows!! But hopefully not, life's just starting to get exciting) and to not ask forgiveness to one of the decent professors in APC for disappointing him real hard would definitely be the first thing on my unfinished business list. I am really sorry, sir. For sleeping last thursday. :( i was just not feeling well that day and it was indeed very disrespectful to do that in class. I also apologize for not preparing enough for the group activity. We will try to bawi asap. Hope you don't give up on us. You may not notice it but we do love you from the bottom of our hypothalamus for teaching us with all ur heart. *commercial break ends* I realized being practical is not enough when designing a secured system. It takes a lot of analyzing too. That's why even if i'm not good at it, i could also like it. Hurrah for finding solution to things!! It makes the world suck less.
His head is brighter than my future *cries*
Week 10: A Letter to Beth
Dear Beth, Yesterday the time stopped. My external hd was dropped. And my eyes literally popped. Everything turned into slow motion As my eagle eyes started to function. It was a sight worse than a death potion. My very own hard drive met the earth. With a sound that hurt like giving birth. You will never know what it was worth. But as fast as my relationships go, It was wrecked in a millisecond or so. Time not even enough to say "bro." Now, you might ask why I'm so blue. It's just that, consider me like a glue. Can be very attached without a clue. Which reminds me of death. Or just life in general, Beth. How awful can it get? Very. One moment all is well. The next it's just like hell. Nobody can never tell. Just like this helluva term. A week can be nasty like a germ; But will make you strong like a herm. Stay strong, Bob Ong
Week 9: The Inevitable Phase
As a normal human being, i'm always at the verge of a breakdown because of anxiety towards life. The questions like wtf am i doing right nao???, am i doing what im supposed to be doing??, and am i even doing it the right way???? are often lurking in my head if im not busy getting myself distracted from them(and by distraction, i mean watching some series). I'm 18 years old and I think something is still completely missinggggggggggg but idk what that is. UUUUUUUHHHHHHHHDNDBHDJ thats the sound my anxiety makes. Anyway, i'm not usually like this. I am in fact the kind of person who usually knows what she's doing with the help of planners and to do lists. You know, to convince myself that i actually have my shenanigans together. But other than that, i am lost. Lost in the ocean like Rose's heart of ocean necklace. Oh? They found it?? Well, hope they find mine too! In fact, I hope they find the key i can use to decrypt my dream about my future thats in its cipher text because certainly i already have dreamt about it, i just don't know how to decipher it YET because i still don't have the key. LOL. Can i get a whut nowww Ok dj hips is out yo
Throwback to cryptologoly's preview
In case you havent seen it yet, i suggest you do! Really promising
Week 8: Math Saves Lives
I accidentally watched The Imitation Game (not knowing it was about Alan Turing breakin Enigma) last wednesday just when the cryptology lesson was gonna start the next day. Coincidence?? I. Think. Not. It feels like Alan Turing from cyberheaven wanted me to watch it HAHAHAHHAA ok Anyway, the whole movie was about saving the world with nerds for heroes. Exactly my kind of movie. KUDOS TURING!! This week's movie and post is brought to you by: College week. Giving students enough time to breathe, Right before the death row (that is finals) begins again. Thank u, college week.
When i told my mom that i actually might fail this term. Hahahahahahhuuhuhuhuh
Week 7: Not Today
I was on taft and i almost died last week. See, crossing the road is scary. For me. But around 3am it should be ok, right? Nope. Not if a car out of nowhere decided to appear right in front of you traveling at a speed of light!! And not if your best friend froze in the middle of the road and you have also stopped for about 3seconds to process everything then save her ass. God, it was scary. But i looked death in the eyes and said, not today. Or tomorrow. Or next week. But oh death, screw you for visiting this week. In a form of what can only be called "midterms". You turned me to a zombie. No sleep til 2am every night. THATS A REAL STRETCH FOR SOMEONE WHO ALWAYS SLEEPS BEFORE 12 EVERY NIGHT. You made me not ligo for a day to finish a paper for 18 hours straight. You stressed me out like twenty one pilots. And last but not the least, You made me hate khal limb oh even more. I mean who the heck admits to his class that "oops sorry i dont really know whats in that exam, i just activate and stuff" after finding out that his midterm turned out to be just a 10-item exam (which is .50 of the midterm grade btw) WHY THANK YOU FOR THE CONFESSION SHOULD I ALSO CONFESS MY FEELINGS TO YOU NOW??? IT'S ABHORRENCE. You, midterms, are also a form of death in some sort Because a part of me always dies hours before the actual exams My eyebrows just start to fall off it's crazy But you made me tougher. And bolder. Fiercer. LOL. Fo real tho. Thanks.
A FEB 29 TO REMEMBERRR
