This is one of the best stories we read in a long time. An arborist AKA a tree caretaker and tree surgeon from Redondo Beach, California had to watch the death of one of his favorite trees, which was ordered by the mayor. Although he lost a great battle, he won the war. Find out how he avenged the death of his 30-year-old pepper tree named Clyde.

tbh he probably accidentally killed the plant within a week and idk if jo found out but if she did idk how well that would go over with her #whoops anyway, idk how well dean knows jo/how often he sees her around?? i mean there’s every chance that he only ever buys his dates flowers from her b/c ~excellent products~ and he’s always v friendly but he def thinks she’s a little out there and doesn’t really take anything she says personally/too seriously haha.

Jo will def bring them a plant and probs help along any plants on their property and just act weird bc she just acts weird?????  And I think she freaks some people out, but she’s a genuinely sweet person she’s just…Jo????  Anyway, I can see where maybe their aunt bought plants from Jo, or something, maybe?  And so she’s like, “OMG!  June, there you are!” and rushes over to some plant and I’m sorry about her.  And then proceed to be like, “Just let me know if she [the plant] wants any company!  I’d be happy to swing over any time!  Not to mention, I could bring one of her sisters.  You know how plants are when they get lonely.”

On the other hand, she’d def be the MOST accepting person in the world if she ever learned of their powers, even if she didn’t have one of her own hahahaha bc she’s just the most tolerant person ever.

i think that celia will think that jo is pretty weird (no one is surprised) but i think she might like her on some level? like she probably thinks her vinyl collection is hella cool and like listening to it w/ her and idk i think that her lifestyle is so totally different from anyone that celia has ever met that she’d be kinda curious about her and i can see her hanging out at the nursery sometimes after school and asking questions … and like idk that she’d buy into everything that jo believes or anything, but i think she’d enjoy hearing about how jo sees the world??? i mean i def think there’s instances where it’s all she can do not to laugh but yeahhh

Idk how much interaction these two have, but Jo would def love to see/play with Pippa.  That being said, she should NEVER be left unsupervised w the baby, (though she’d offer bc she wants to help) bc she has exactly zero judgment tbqh

hahahah i don’t think that rachel would ever leave pippa unsupervised w/ jo even now that she’s old enough to talk/feed herself/probably even knows how to work a phone well enough to scroll through jo’s contacts and find her mom’s picture to call her in an emergency like I think she’d realize that that wouldn’t end well (and tbh pippa probably does too #facepalm). altho i think you’re right and idk that they will have much interaction??? at least for now??

Yeah tbh they probs don’t have that much interaction, but when they do happen by, Jo most def gives Pippa some little flower and possibly makes it dance for her when her mom isn’t looking (since I feel like her GM was like ‘you mustn’t show ppl your gift directly’ or whatever bc otherwise she’d show everyone).  Also I cry bc Pippa almost def has more sense than Jo and I’d like to say I’m surprised but...I’m not hahahah
