that NEON GREEN underpainting on the face is blowing my mind!
Honestly the difference between vegan and vegetarian is so fuckin weird
Drinking milk? Baby cow is killed Eating eggs? Male chicks are murdered
I mean, i was a vegetarian too and get that it’s a great way to transition but the actual definition is so fucking blurred because animals are still dying
I always wonder where vegetarians draw the line and why. Many cheese aren’t even vegetarian if we go by the “not eating flesh” definition, because they can be processed using calf stomach or other animal byproducts, and it’s really hard to even find out if they have been since dairy companies aren’t obliged to declare processing methods in most countries, just ingredients. Why avoid gelatine but not calf stomach? If you do avoid those specific cheeses on the basis that calves are killed for those products, why wouldn’t you boycott all dairy and at least commercial eggs, the production of which also involves animal death?
Besides, the meat, dairy and egg industries are so interconnected that there is really no way to effectively boycott just one small part of their business. For example, while you aren’t eating veal, those calves only exist in the first place because they are a byproduct of dairy production. The mothers who produce your eggs and dairy almost never get a happy retirement, they’ll be sent to slaughter. Last year in the US, 57% of all cows sent to slaughter were from the dairy industry, and while you won’t eat their flesh, you effectively put them there. What you don’t buy from the industry in meat, you’ll likely buy in dairy, so it makes no difference to them in practical terms. It’s like boycotting a sweatshop by only buying their jeans. Vegetarianism can be a really helpful step in transitioning but please, unless you don’t have the option to go fully vegan, don’t just stop half way. Feel free to check out my guide if you don’t know where to start, and I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have.
Human relationships are strange. I mean, you are with one person a while, eating and sleeping and living with them, loving them, talking to them, going places together, and then it stops

Please don’t hold back on me. Tell me that you miss me. Tell me that you stayed up late cause you couldn’t stop thinking about me, about us. Tell me about the dreams you have with me. Tell me about the way I make you happy. Don’t pretend to have no feelings. Love is not a weakness, and if it is, let’s all be weak, let’s all tell people why they mean so much to us.

Spread love. Tell others you miss them, that you're thinking of them. It's so important.
