The stars in Naxis always seem so beautiful. Sometimes, even more beautiful than the views some are accustomed to in the world outside. There are nights when those stars look so close, so tangible and so enchanting that players forget they are trapped in the land of Naxis.

Too bright.

Back home the city had been too bright. Stars were a rare occurrence, saved for city-wide blackouts. When she'd come home late there would always be the faint dark haze, the moon, and an endless black sky to keep her company. Stars were never involved.

Now the stars were burning into her eyes and Joan found herself unable to look away.

She didn't want the stars. 

They hurt; they caused her eyes to water and ache and burn and her chest to shudder as she took in air. Her back pressed against the stone wall and she forced herself to close her eyes.

Too much.

She wanted the dark.

She wanted home.

I have to get out of here.
