That’s an odd request. One that has Jean pull a face as he looks at the girl, decides to move albeit slowly with caution created from his curiosity. Her attention to detail was lacking. 

"Uh, okay. Need help getting somethin’ down or..?" 

What other explanation could there be? Stepping outside, Jean looks about the area. In the closest trees and the roof overhead, trying to spot something Krista might like to retrieve. Knots his brow with slight confusion when nothing significant stands out in his sights, and regards the blonde with another look underneath an arched eyebrow. He’s waiting. 

The blonde made her way outside, the sun beamed down on her in welcome as her crystal gaze traveled along the green leafed trees. In those trees, hidden between the leaves were bright red apples. It has been a while since Krista has picked any, it almost seemed too long ago... The small girl promised to make her food-loving friend a nice apple pie, maybe Jean would like to have some too.

 "I can't reach the apples!"

          Confusion flashed across his face as he brought his gaze back to Krista’s face. Frowning, he stared for a brief moment before a chuckle rose in his chest. "No? Why would you?"

The small blonde let out a soft giggle before she shrugged her shoulders, pink lightly shaded on her cheeks. "---- I just didn't want to embarrass you in anyway!"
