Stratford Circus the home of homegrown talent
IAMDV8 came back with its third and biggest festival to name. This was hosted at the Straford Circus to celebrate the talents of exciting young musicians, singers, MCs, fashion designers, event managers, graphic artists and filmmakers. With the pleasure of the UK's rnb star Angel headlining the event.
Open Mic Challenge (Circus Two: 5 – 6pm)
The open mic challenge was a chance for young musicians to come up and compete for the a slot to perform at the IAMDV8 evening show and a goodie bag of new exclusive beats. The winner had to wow the live audience and judges to get a chance of this prize. The beats was given in by our students at DV8 and put in jukebox for them to choose from. We had 15 acts however the winner of this challenge was TYLER. Our very own student manage to win over the crowd and claim the prize of performing at the evening showcase.
One Agenda showcase (Circus Two: 6 – 7pm)
The One Agenda was put on to showcase the talent of youngsters of Priory Court that they were working on. The show was filled with fun, dance, fashion, and music. The kids of priory court has done us proud. We managed to treat the youngsters with a headliner of J Sol, they loved him and manage to get up on stage to perform with him. J Sol brought happiness to these kids and it was wonderful to see.
IAMDV8 evening showcase (8 - 10.30pm)
The evening showcase was brilliant experience as i got to see all the planning and dedication which was put into this show was actually happening right in front of me. We had choir singers, live bands, musicians, spoken word poet, dancer, a fashion show, live PAs, pyrotechnics everything you can think of was anticipated into this show. The planning we had worked on from January was all worth it and i loved every moment.

We managed to sell out the building people where still lining up to get a tickets. It was amazing turn out, one of the best shows I ever worked on
