#Halloween with @turnerclassicmovies . . . Well. It's Day 9 of this hotel stay. The Wapi is in the garage, having issues being taken care of. I am getting a bit too comfortable with such easily accessible luxuries like cable tv. Wi-fi. Non-stop running hot water. Itching to get back on the road again before cabin fever sets in! 😵😲😱 (at Dieppe, New Brunswick)

Hank Green is my hero.
“I decided, a long time ago, that I prefer not to experience negative emotions - I like emotions, but the positive ones…and so, the negative ones, I sort of…‘meh…’ ”
“The other day, I was thinking about being annoyed, cause I was annoyed at the time and was like, ‘This is annoying. What if being annoyed felt like an orgasm?’ ”
- Hank Green on TABLE TALK.

The Perfect Anti-Valentines album
Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day, and as much as I also enjoy those little cards sent out to everyone around...or the cheesy love songs that get over-played and are requested out to everyone...
It’s also a day that one can become pretty annoyed with should you find yourself not hitched/single or even just alone by yourself on this day.
At a time when our thoughts should turn towards more love than hate, I’m finding that those difficult feelings that one may be dealing with can always be turned into prose, or, some sort of rap-battle/song-writing.
Buck 65′s 2014 album, Neverlove, was such a perfect antithesis to love and relationships. It centres on his devastating breakup and his experiences afterwards...
What I enjoyed though about this album, is that these feeligns can be pretty universal. Especially after an experience such as a break-up, or even just the experience of failing out of a friendship with someone close...
His words and rhymes though have let him communicate this universally, and therefore also (I believe and hope for his sake) have let him reach a catharsis.
It's definitely a good feeling to be able to write-out these difficult feelings. Heck, maybe you'll be able to find that you're incredibly gifted in terms of songwriting or slam poetry...or something.
Either way...
To give you a taste of the album, and to introduce you to Buck 65 if you haven’t heard of this guy yet, take a listen to these tracks:

I want to share this with you. A few thoughts about my hair & the trifles that I am sure are felt by us at one point or another in our lives. I wrote it out & am sharing it because... Well. I can.

"How do you share your life with somebody?"
That is a question that Samantha asks Theodore in Spike Jonze’s film, HER.
It’s also a question that has been sort of jumbling in the back of my mind, ever since hearing of the separation of Martin Freeman and Amanda Abbington.
I don’t know why this news has affected me so, but I feel that it is more sad than of the celebrity deaths of recent news.
I think one of the hardest things in life that humans must endure is that of choosing to separate from the one you love, after years of being together, because you feel the love…die.
For me, Spike Jonze will always have that ability within his films to truly hit the right emotional levels that human beings feel - but can never really understand or fully explain or don't want to deal with, and...his films become that outlet for them. Or at least, I feel like I can relate to the ways that he expresses these intense emotions.
With the release of HER, there was an accompanied short documentary - her: love in the modern age - which is just a 15min~ documentary that I do suggest you watch (especially after watching HER since...well...spoilers.)
I guess, where I initially felt that sadness, I was more just afraid of my own relationship and thinking about that incredibly sad possibility that it may also, one day, fall into nothingness.
People do change. People grow apart. Why am I letting this possibility scare me though?
I think for one, change is such a huge thing to deal with - to confront. Some people don't want to admit that they change, but they do.
Since you can either change for the better...or the worst. I feel that the majority of humans nowadays tend to lean towards pessimism than optimism, so of course change is such a daunting thing, and you wouldn't want to change for the worst.
Going back to that specific question that titles this random blog post: How do you share your life with somebody? It's a question where answers change from person to person; from relationship to relationship. It's a question that can ultimately invoke a ton of introspection for a single individual, once asked.
It's a question that is incredibly important to everyone, and should be thought about at some point in life - and at whatever stage in life you are at: young or old.
How do you share your life with somebody?

As we move into 2017, I wanted to capture a real photo, with natural lighting, and my real self and share it with you as a bit of a reminder of how silly we should be. Of how we need to just be present in the here and now. Of really appreciating the time that we have with friends, family... Don't be sucked into the hatred that the social medias is spreading about 2016 being the worst possible year. Take a look back at your own year and think about all the good times you had. Happy New Years everyone ❤
