It was awkwardly silent as they made their way down the stairwell. Jocelyn tried to pass the time by analyzing what she could see of the drones. No one ever mentioned that being taken to prison would be this boring and monotonous. Clearly the Doctor wasnât elaborating further on where they were going, and she certainly wasnât going to debase herself by begging or ânegotiating.â Idly, she wondered if the little white eggs could bear the weight of a human. Could be fun to fly on one sometime - if she ever got out of whatever it was sheâd walked herself into.
Her daydreams about robot surfing were interrupted as the pair reached the door. She could hear the scrape of metal on the other side, but couldnât discern what might be making it.
âWhy so quiet?â The doctor asked. âMulling over every single mistake youâve made in your life that has led to this moment? I donât mind! There wonât be a quiet moment once weâve arrived at our destination, so take all the time you need.â
Robotnik shoved open the door with his shoulder, pulling Jocelyn along with him into the alley where a black Suburban would be waiting for themâŠ
"Mistakes?" Jocelyn quirked her eyebrow, looking very much like the cat that ate the canary. "I am absolutely remorseless about everything that I have done today. And you won't change that - though you're welcome to try~ It'll be quite fun."
Proving her point, she quickened her pace towards the imposing black sedan, as if eager for what awaited her on the other side.
