"Colette. Go show daddy!" The dark haired little girl turned to face her father, her hazel eyes big and bright with excitement as they met the eyes that matched hers.
"Daddy!!" She screeched with elation as she attempted to run over to him, her tiny feet in his large dress shoes causing her to fall instantly. His thick, black-framed glasses sat lopsided and too large on her tiny face, his tie crooked around her neck and so long it ended at her shins.
"Daddy look! M’you!! M’daddy!!" She had let her feet slide out of the oversized shoes and ran over and into his arms, the man enveloping her quickly into a hug before he pulled back and lifted her in the air so he could get a good look at her.
"I think you pull off me better than I pull off me." He chuckled, pulling her over to blow a raspberry on her tummy, causing an eruption of giggles from the little human being. "You look great, baby girl."
"I told her the same thing. That she pulls it off better." Ellie says with a sly smile as she encircles the two sitting on the floor, her hand rubbing over her boyfriend’s shoulder before taking a seat on the couch behind him. "She wants to be you for Halloween."
"But I wanna be daddy for Halloween!!!" Another voice called out, the little boy running up from the kitchen with a cookie in hand. "I told Lette I wanted to be him. She stole my idea!" Isaac stomped his foot, the cookie hanging loosely in his fingers.
"Nu uh, Isaac! You said soes after I dids!" The little girl shouted at him from atop her father’s shoulders, arms wrapped around his head as if she were a monkey.
"Oy! Clit!" Jo suddenly called out as the corgi came running in and nabbed the cookie from Isaac’s hand, running off in the opposite direction, causing him to burst into giggles.
"Oh for pete’s sake." Ellie muttered, standing up. "You both can be daddy, or neither of you can be daddy. No fighting over costumes, I said that already, are we clear?" The twins nodded at their mom, looking properly scolded. "Good. Now. Whoever beats daddy up the best gets to wear his glasses with their costume." She said slyly, giving her boyfriend an evil little grin before the twins cheered and jumped their father, the man grabbing hold of his girlfriend and pulling her down with them as they all turned into a ball of laughter and tickles.
