♱ guidelines.
// selective. this means that while i’m not exclusively mutuals only - i will give mutuals preference when it comes to reply priority. non-mutuals are encouraged to respond to open starters & to send ask memes as ice breakers.
// affiliates & exclusives. while i certainly have those who i write with more than others and will befriend ooc, on this blog i have chosen not to have an affiliates section on my pinned post, and will only do blog wide exclusives in very rare cases. while i may have verse exclusives - those verses are usually written in tandem with the partner and therefore become our collective intellectual property, hence the exclusivity. but otherwise, i’m open to all versions of canon muses including duplicates of muses i play.
// explicit content. i will engage with smut with mutuals only and at times i will fade to black any scenes i feel uncomfortable with - this will be on a case by case basis as i’ve had some bad experiences with writing smut and can get triggered or anxious by it sometimes. there will likely be reference to sexually explicit storylines, ask memes containing sexual scenes and other mature content - anything deemed explicit ( by me ) will be tagged using the usfw thread tag. i will never post sexually explicit graphics.
// triggers. i do my best to tag any universally agreed upon triggering topics, using the standard ‘topic tw’ format. if you feel inclined to tag my triggers, my personal triggers are images of snakes & depictions of miscarriage. i have most variations of these blacklisted via xkit.
// “problematic content.” i will not stand for the policing of my blog. while i’ll never force anyone to follow or interact with content they view as problematic, i won’t change my own content based on the word of anons. i enjoyed flawed characters and some forms of dark content - these will likely be featured on this blog.
// fandom. almost all of my muses are adaptable into any fandom that i, personally am familiar with. i am always open to crossovers and will interact with fandom and original character blogs often. some of those fandoms include: criminal minds, law & order; svu, the one chicago universe, the rookie, stranger things, x-files, heated rivalry, fourth wing, jurassic park universe (including camp cretaceous), shadowhunters: the mortal instruments, divergent series, the hunger games, divine rivals series, off campus, red white and royal blue, the taylor jenkins reid cinematic universe ( including daisy jones and the six ), the summer i turned pretty, the walking dead, yellowstone, sons of anarchy, the emily henry cinematic universe, bbc’s robin hood, the pixar universe, the twilight saga - and many more - just ask if you’re curious.
//minimalist. this blog is not aesthetic focused, but will instead focus on writing and developing unique and dynamic plots & connections with other writers. most of the time this blog will be iconless or will employ the use of static icons for starters & ask meme replies.
// characterization vs canon portrayal. i do my best to keep the canon essence of my muses intact no matter what scenario i find myself writing for them - however, i reserve the right to portray my character however i see fit. at times this may seem 'out of character’ to you, or versus their canon, but that is how i’ve chosen to play them and i will not be taking notes or criticism on my portrayals. if you feel the need to block or unfollow me because of something my muse does, please protect yourself and your roleplay experience by doing so.
//shipping. i tend to lean towards romantic ships when roleplaying on indie - this is because i like to focus platonic connections to mutual friends who will be around for the long haul - if you would like to plot out and develop platonic connections, feel free to message me - i’m open to all types of connections, i just tend to lean towards shipping when it comes to new mutuals.
// dni (do not interact) if: (1) you have been blocked by me on a former blog, (2) you write incest plots, (3) you are only looking for smut, (4) you only write white cis women muses, (5) you write characters that hurt/abuse children ( ie. the grabber from the black phone, the clown from it ), (6) you are under twenty one years of age, (7) you condone/participate in/encourage callouts over petty drama, (8) you use ai in any of your creating process - this includes but may not be limited to: writing replies, developing verses + headcanons, plotting, etc, (9) you are writing an 'oc version’ of a real person; this blog does not condone 'real people fiction’ or anything resembling it, (10) you engage in any type of ooc rhetoric that can be interpreted as transphobic, racist, bigoted, homophobic, etc - if your character has some of these qualities there may be exceptions made, i do enjoy flawed characters.

i’m sugar, currently in my mid-thirties & i’ve been roleplaying in group and independent contexts for about fifteen years give or take, but before that i wrote fanfiction and short stories for basically my entire life. i’m a mom & wife, and i work retail part-time - when i’m not tending to my adult responsibilities, you can find me reading, binge watching comfort shows, trying new cozy hobbies (coloring, cooking, painting, crafting), listening to music, and trying to write.

♱ my roleplay style.
i’m not around as much anymore now that i’m working and i’m still adjusting to that major life change, i am also incredibly forgetful/have a lot going on and i have adhd - this basically means, i get distracted easily and i hyperfixate on things. if i am missing replies, do not hesitate to ping me or dm me, because chances are it’s just slipped my mind, it’s never personal i just forget. i love to do shorter one para threads, because i love fast moving plots, but i’m always open to writing longer threads too, just give me some grace because again - i can be very scattered at times. i play a wide range of muses with varying personality types, interests, etc - so if you ever want to plot with me, and think our muses would vibe, feel free to hit me up as long as communication is there i’m pretty okay with most plots.
