EPIPHANY

A project I worked on on along side some of my fellow students, for the 2014 project week at the Minerva Academy.

The goal was to visualize what a moment of epiphany looks like.

Analogue Photography

I got an opportunity to use an old analogue camera, and took a stroll through my my city centre to snap some shots.

 When developing the photos, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful they came out. Definitely something pleasing about taking pictures and not being able to see what it looks like until you go into a dark room and develop them yourself.

This is the cover to a little guide booklet I crafted, for students that recently moved to the Netherlands and need some sort of guidance. 

I hope to one day publish it, and make it obtainable for our future students whom plan to travel to the Netherlands to pursue an education.

I wanted to design a branding for a bath soap company I fictionally made up, the idea was to make two concepts:

A simple minimal design, and a wild and colourful design.

clearly I focused more on the minimal part.

Groninger Museum Re-branding Project

For my Graphic Design class we got the opportunity to work on the re-branding of the Groninger Museum in my own city I live in. This was exciting because it was a building I visited myself a couple of times, and it is a building I walk by quite often. 

This was my concept of the re-branding: I based it on the look and feel inside, and outside the museum (which has a very curious architectural design).

The task was to design your own movie poster, I love the old style colorful movie posters from the forties, and based my choice of color and design on that.
