Rio-Haikyuu Guidebook: A compilation of some of the places Hinata Shoyo visited in Brazil + locations explained 🇧🇷 🧶
🖇️: Read the full doc here!!!
I created this to share more of my love for haikyuu and show off how Furudate-sensei represented Brazilian culture so beautifully along with Shoyo’s growth. I want more fans around the world to fall in love with our country & have a beautiful experience here, just like Shoyo ☺️🫶
1. Christ the Redeemer
📍 Estação Cosme Velho - Rua Cosme Velho, 513
This adress is to go by train. You can access the Trem do Corcovado website to buy your ticket or get it at the station itself, or the Paineiras Corcovado website to go by van :))
2. Aterro e Praia do Flamengo
📍 Praia do Flamengo - Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 22210-065
Posto 3 - (the beaches are always divided into sections called 'Postos')
It's where Shoyo and Oikawa met when Shoyo was homesick, and it's also where he meditates every morning.
3. Rua Senhor dos Passos, Centro (Saara)
📍 Rua Sr. dos Passos, 42 - Centro, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 20061-013
It's an open-air shopping complex where Shoyo gets lost making deliveries. If you're looking for souvenirs for your trip, this is the best and cheapest place to buy them
4. Praia de Ipanema (Morro Dois Irmãos)
📍 Av. Vieira Souto - Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro - RJ, 22420-002
Posto 8
This iconic art of Ninja Shoyo has the Morro Dois Irmãos in the background, which boasts spectacular views from Ipanema and Leblon beaches.
5. Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim (Galeão)
📍 Avenida Vinte de Janeiro, Bairro Galeão - Ilha do Governador
If you're coming from another country, you'll land at Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport, where Shoyo arrived and departed, in front of a gift shop :))
6. Bar do Belmonte
📍 Av. Mem de Sá, 82 - Lapa, 20230-152
Belmonte is a large chain of restaurants and bars that has become famous for its petiscos (snacks from bars in Brazil), and it's where Shoyo watched Kageyama play in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
That's the end for now ^-^ ask me if you have any questions about these places and i'll do my best to help. Brazilians are very warm and welcoming, and I'm sure you'll feel welcomed if you come visit us ᕙ(`▿´)ᕗ🧡🧡🧡
