You went to watch a UFC fight or you participated in the UFC fight? Because if you participated, I feel so sorry for you pal. Oh yeah? Fans finally walk up to you? I mean, it’s cool interacting and signing autographs for the fans. Shows you care. Well, except for me, I’d rather they suffer thru another amazing Deadpool movie!! Oh yeah, sometimes I’ll walk into the room, forget what I came in there for and leave, no questions asked.
I went to watch a UFC fight! The last thing I need is to be participating in a UFC fight as the quarterback of a professional football team, especially one that’s just fully recovered from a shitty knee injury. Ha. They did, yeah! It was really cool. I mean, I’ve had people come up to me here and there, but I did not expect the amount of people to come up to me that did that night. It was insane. I don’t know about the rest of your fans, but I wouldn’t mind suffering through another Deadpool movie.

Oh, I’m a little jealous! I’d like to go to a UFC fight sometime! First taste of celebrity status. That brings back memories. I love it when the fans come up and ask me for an autograph or picture! It’s always exciting so I always smile when I see a fan. Oh yeah, I remember that. I realized I had a following when people actually bought tickets to our shows.
They’re so much fun, I love going to them on my off days or whenever one is being held, which isn’t too often. So, gotta take advantage of it. I can’t even tell you how much I cheesing that night, it was crazy. It felt so good in a way that wasn’t going to my head, if you know what I mean. I bet that was such a good feeling, yeah? Probably an even better feeling when it gets bigger and bigger throughout the years.

I’m actually quite amazed how many people don’t know what it is…it’s like one of the biggest music festivals in the world. It was the Coachella before Coachella was Coachella. Thanks man, it’s like…the biggest gig I’ll be doing, ever.

That’s sweet though. It’s interesting because even with the advent of social media, when you’re working you feel like you’re in this bubble and you don’t see what’s on the other side of that until much later, and I feel like you’re just experiencing that now. You spent so long in this concentrated moment that this down time is what its taken for you to experience that moment again. As much as people like to pretend it doesn’t exist, it was super weird to start getting people’s attention in the streets once Percy Jackson came out. Of course there was true detective after that which has taken off far more, but still.
That’s exactly how I’d describe the way it feels, honestly. I’m still pretty new to the whole NFL franchise, and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing just how passionate and incredible the fans are. It’s moments like those that’ll keep me going for years on end. But wow, talk about a throwback. It seems like those movies just came out yesterday. How did it feel after they came out?

Did you sign any boobs though? I haven’t been asked to sign any yet, on any gender, and I feel like I won’t have that moment until I do. I’m kidding, mostly. That’s awesome as hell though, dude. You played your ass off last season, so you definitely deserved to have that moment and probably the thousands more in your future.
Haven’t signed any boobs yet, but I imagine I’ll get the offer soon enough. Let’s be real, you and I both know you weren’t kidding. I don’t want to hold myself to too high of a standard, but I honestly wouldn’t mind it if moments like those keep happening for years to come.

Ready for a secret? You never get used to it, or I guess it’s more like it never gets entirely old. Not with the fans anyways. You’ll love it just as much ten years from now as you did the first time. And those crowds will just keep getting bigger, especially if you boys keep winning. We once got compared to Beatle Mania during one of our tours back in the day, and I still don’t think I’ve fully recovered from that one.
I kind of figured that’s what was going to happen and not that I really mind it, anyway, because our fans are so passionate. I can honestly say I love it more than anything, it’s what keeps me going and pushes me to continue being the best I can be. Dude, I’d say that’s one of the highest forms of compliments, isn’t it? If I were you, I don’t think I’d recover from that, either.

Pat: Good, glad to hear that you're doing okay. You just have to keep moving on. I have no doubt you'll come back stronger, though I can't say that I necessarily like that thought :p
Pat: Haha, I totally get what you mean. It's easy to feel out of place. My girl is friends with quite a few of the girls that were there, so I've been around them before. Yeah, I was there but stayed in the room and went to the beach a lot. Unfortunately I wasn't there the whole time :(
