Hey! Sorry Iâm behind as you might notice I am on a semi-hiatus due to October being extremely busy as I wrap up my studies and graduate as well as top on that Iâm also going back to the hospital for surgery so Iâm hoping to get all responses finished in roughly two weeks. I may drop a few due to lack off muse, I will let you know if Iâm dropping our thread and we could discuss alternate threads. Thank you for holding out on me. <3<3

âYouâre nothing! Did you hear me?! Nothing!â
âYou ruined everything.â
âYes, yes you usually make a good point.â He playfully teased. âI suppose youâre right but weâll see how this goes and see if Iâve got to interfere with myself in the past or future. I always figure something out.â
The Doctor made begun hitting buttons, running around the console of the TARDIS, concentrating on figuring out what the hell that was. âCome on..â He muttered to himself, grabbing the screen and pulling it down in front of his face.
âScooby-Doo? Clara, come on, this isnât Scooby-Doo.â He shook his head. âBut maybe instead of projection its aâŚfilter?â He suggested. âBut you are making a good point on the scaring them out of town. I imagine that could probablyâŚdefinitely be it. Could you press that blinking light for me please?â
âUsually?â She quirked an eyebrow âCareful with what you say mister.â She replied in a joking manner, lurking around and watching the Doctor curiously from over his shoulder. Or well more of around his shoulder considering how short she is.Â
It was a funny dilemma to Clara. She wasnât taking this as seriously as she should be though, that was obvious. She shrugged âYeah, could be trying to scare people into selling real estate.â She joked and leaned over slightly, a hand on his shoulder as she pressed the button.Â
âThank you, I tend to be smart like that. At least one of us have to be smart or else whats the point?â She asked, smiling up at him before leaning on the console. âHereâs another smart thought, you think we could try and find some of the people theyâve scared away and I donât know, ask them?âÂ
âYes usually.â He grinned, looking over at Clara for a moment before returning his gaze to the screen in front of him.Â
âReal estate? Clara.â He shook his head, chuckling a bit to himself. He pressed a few more buttons before pulling on a lever. âThe TARDIS wont read it properly. Weâve got to get closer.âÂ
The Doctor laughed. âI can be the smart one too.â He rolled his eyes playfully, tapping Claraâs nose with his index finger. âI think we could definitely try. Iâd have to switch the settings on the screen to read for those who have lived hereâŚbit difficult though when you..donât know where here is exactly so lets find out, shall we?â
Clara met his gaze with a small teasing mope before he turned away, her features returning to normal âYou are so cruel baby face.â She commented, rolling her eyes.
âYes you heard me, real estate. Say after all of this, we should play some Monopoly. All this talk of real estate is making me interested in conquering some properties.â She asked the Doctor with a smile âWe could have some tea and biscuits too. That could be very lovely.â
Clara crosses her eyes as he touches her nose gently. Stars, did she like it when there was a general air of touching and closeness between the two. It brought her comfort and reassured her even when times suggested she shouldnât be too reassured. âDoes this require stepping outside? Because Iâm not too interested in whatever that thing is thatâs lurking the streets. But I guess I can, if we have to. But if my new skirt gets ruined, youâll be owing my at least three pounds Doctor.â
Bruises? Really? Was he serious?
Frowning, Peter watched the nonsense Tony did to procrastinate from answering his question. He was sure that must be it, because they rarely had any confrontational conversations he started this way. Peter always said âyesâ and âamenâ, never really complained and alwaysâzipped itâ, how Mr. Stark called it when he wanted Peter to shut up - end and argument.
Why was he thinking this one would end any different?
Already frustrated, the boy let out a sigh and let Tony speak. He was polite enough to not interrupt, which didnât meant he wouldnât give him his two cents on that marter. âI have broke my bones endless times during battle already, Mr. Stark. I donât like it - I think no one really does - but with my healing factor, it really isnât an issue. They heal fast. Iâm speaking of like  - within hours fast.â, Peter complained, arms crossed in front of his chest, pouting like an angry toddler, since his soft features didnât made it very convincing.
He didnât get it, didnât understood what Tony truly meant, because all he made out of it was that Tony still belittered him. âIâm hitting 18 soon. I have been Spiderman for three years now. I have stopped the Vulture, I have fought with you in Germany and even in space. I think I am ready to take on more big baddies. Come on, Mr. Stark. Iâm no child anymore.â, he clearly grew up faster than he wanted to, but there was no way to turn back time now - no reason to look back, when he had a future ahead of him that was so much more promising. âIâm even done with school in less than a month or so. You even said it yourself, didnât you? Iâm an Avenger now.â
Tony couldnât help but let out a sigh, his body deflating slightly as he listened to Peter relieve his frustration and anger. There were so many reasons. There was so many reasons why he wouldnât let Peter extend himself. Already Tony couldnât have been there for him in Europe because he was still recovering. The kid almost died, kid got hit by a fucking train. Tony blamed himself even though he shouldnât. He was still recovering from surgery at the time, no one wouldâve known that an ex Stark employee would go psycho and try to kill the kid. Yet it didnât stop Tony from blaming himself.
He flexed the prosthetic slightly, staring at it, trying his hardest to stay calm, to hear him out even though every fiber in his body screamed âno.â
âHe doesnât understand.â
âHeâs too young.â
âHeâll die again.â
âI know Peter, I know. But it doesnât matter. I like it when Iâm not having to worry about you getting hurt kid. I prefer being able to do my job without having to look over my shoulder every other second to just make sure your heart is still beating.â
He didnât mean to snap, in all honesty. But Peter was rubbing him the wrong way.
âYou know when I was turning eighteen my main concern was that I could finally legally buy alcohol in Europe.â He makes an irritated sound why didnât he understand? Why couldnât Peter understand that Tony just wanted him safe. He wanted to risk as little as possible. Even if that means going head first into danger without calling for backup. It didnât matter if he needed it. It just mattered he could keep everyone safe. And space. He hated space. He loathed it at this point. It had chewed him up and spit him out and Tony had decided this rock he calls home, what he calls Earth, heâd rather stay there. Just thinking about it made his blood boil. There were so many instances where Thanos had very nearly killed all of them.Â
âAnd what happened in space Peter! Do you remember? Because I do! I remember holding you while you died! You died in space. I donât want to risk losing you again! I know what that was like already. Just donât mention space. Donât- Donât mention any of that bullshit kid.â
His emotions were running rampant, after everything with Thanos, he was lucky to even still be alive. He almost died. He very nearly did. Tony was different after the battle with Thanos. Some say he was definitely softer. Raising Morgan had helped him settle more into that ideal retired life he had fought back for so long. Why couldnât Peter understand that his age didnât matter? That Peter was still his kid. Peter had carved a hole in his heart and losing him would destroy Tony.
âYou are, Yeah I know youâre graduating soon. In saying that we should be worrying about you getting into the university you want kid. Harvard? Yale? You know I went to MIT. Whatever you get into, you know I am paying for it right? We should be worrying about uni rather then... Then being in the Avengers.â
It scared Tony, all of that superhero stuff. It always has, it always will. And it down right terrified him thinking about Peter being involved in all of that.
âLook, Peter- No zip it. Iâm talking now... Come here.â He pulls out the chair next to him âSit down kid.â It wasnât an offer, no it was Tony telling him, ordering him.
This is where the adult talks.
âI know, I know youâre eighteen soon. And youâre graduating soon and Iâm so, so very proud of you. Which is really difficult for me to say. Iâm not good at all this crap. Never was. Iâm only getting better because of Pep, Morgan, because of you. I really need you to understand, I need you to understand that this all, everything here. Itâs not a game.â
Tony gestures to the prosthetic. He had spent months working on it, getting a working arm back after he had lost his after the snap. Even then, the scars extended upwards and touched the corners of his face. They extended across his shoulder and down his torso and it was just visible with his singlet.
He had spent hours in surgery. It was assumed he wasnât going to pull through. They werenât able to save his arm but Tony was just grateful to be alive, to be able to watch Morgan grow up, watch Peter graduate, see Harley finish university.
âI donât regret avoiding calling for back up Peter. I almost died, if you came, thereâs a good chance you probably wouldâve. Anyway if I did need backup, I wouldnât have called you kid.âÂ
It didnât dawn on Tony that was exactly the opposite of what Peter probably wouldâve wanted to hear. But itâs what Tony needed for himself.
âYes, yes you usually make a good point.â He playfully teased. âI suppose youâre right but weâll see how this goes and see if Iâve got to interfere with myself in the past or future. I always figure something out.â
The Doctor made begun hitting buttons, running around the console of the TARDIS, concentrating on figuring out what the hell that was. âCome on..â He muttered to himself, grabbing the screen and pulling it down in front of his face.

âLook, Iâm telling you that theyâre not real. If youâd like you can just not believe me but thatâs your own choice.â Eleven spun around, looking at something in the distance. âThoughâŚI suppose there could be something pretending to be them..â He spoke quietly, slowly. He squinted and then his eyes widened. âWe should go. Well, at least you should. Youâll be safer that way.â
âI always make a good point.â She suggested, a prideful smile tugging at her lips briefly âYou canât control your future, no. But you can control your past. And when you think about it, if you bump into a future version of yourself. You could kind of control your future. In a sense.â
Clara looked over when he tugged her slightly and veered towards the TARDIS. Theyâd be safe in there, they can sort out a proper game plan in there and decide if the creature was wreaking havoc or just in its natural biome. So many questions. But she had a feeling, the way the Doctors eyes opened in shock, he knew. Or at least a little.
âWell no, if you called me young girl itâs be odd, creepy and definitely would be one way to get authorities called. Anyway Iâm not that young, when you take in the average age humans live up to.â She points out, pulling the door open and as soon as she knew the Doctor was in along side her, slammed it shut.
She pressed her back against the door and sighed in relief before pulling away and fixing her clothes to sit more comfortably as she walked over to the console, all the while talking âSo do you think it could be a projection? Say if it wasnât about you, do you think whoeverâs controlling it could be trying to scare the inhabitants of that city? Because it looked like a ghost town. You know it could be like... Projections. Like in Scooby Doo on Voodoo Island. Do you remember that movie? Itâs a really good movie.â

He squinted and then his eyes widened. âWe should go. Well, at least you should. Youâll be safer that way.â
âYou know what else people say isnât real, aliens. But oh look! Who are you again? An alien!â Clara tended to do that in stressful situations, raise her voice. Become stubborn. More stubborn than her usual self. But it was fine.
No it wasnât. They looked real. So very real. âSomething pretending to be them? Great. So that is something and probably has the intent on killing us. Either due to wanting a snack or because you... I donât know, married their significant other by accident or something. Either way I think they have intentions of maiming.â
Clara tried not to sound like she was panicking but admittedly she was, just a little. And a little became much more heightened when the Doctor seemed shocked, his eyes widening. âWe should, we really should-â
She paused at that, the suggestion that she should go on her own, leave the other behind.
No way.
That wasnât how this all went down, in a split second Claraâs hand had reached for his own, tenderly taking it, his callous hand in her own soft and petite one. She squeezed it assuredly and forced a smile. It seemed so sincere and deep down it was. But they had bigger problems to worry about than small gestures and tokens.
âNot without you old man, câmon.â And she began to drag him away from the danger, for once she was taking the lead in the Chase instead of being dragged behind. Her mind wracking for safe spots or at least where they had left the TARDIS.
Another Wednesday, another adventure.
Perth Climate Strike protest signs. What an amazing turn out!
An estimated 300,000 people took to the streets around Australia to protest government inaction on climate change. Around the world there are millions asking for the same. We have known for decades that climate change is real. Even John Hewson, former Liberal party leader in the early 90s endorsed The Greens in the latest election because his party is run by coal-loving climate deniers and have lost all merit. Our government is decades behind on climate action. Decades. That makes me angry and depressed but seeing thousands of people marching in Perth alone and seeing Greta Thunberg become an international icon of change gives me hope. There is hope. There is always hope. There are so many of us fighting for justice and one day weâre going to get it. The march was massive today but itâs not the last politicians will hear from the public about its demands for a better future. We will keep doing everything we can to stop the environmental and economic collapse that climate inaction brings. I know we will. I believe in us.
Very important! Really wouldâve participated but couldnât because of an injury. But lots of my friends did. Where I live we will be directly affected by the introduced Adani mine and itâs super important to bring attention to all of this!
Been this way since April
That last one is literally me though
The last one was all of us
They cancelled the Tony Stark: Iron Man series so I basically no longer have a reason to live anymore đ
Sheâs being christened! I decided to change my Doctor who poster of Peter Capaldi and a Dalek from the 500th issue magazine special and fished out an old poster I havenât put up in a while. Hello Strange! Miss me? Iâve rolled it out and put some books to weigh down so hopefully when I get home tomorrow itâll be a bit easier to put back up. My wall currently feels so big and empty without that poster honestly. And yes, funnily enough I only have one marvel poster. Unless you count the Tom Holland one I have. The rest of my posters are actually Doctor Who and maybe a few anime ones I got while in Japan. Maybe I should invest in some more Marvel posters. Iâd love a few with either Deadpool comic art or Iron man comic art. And tbh? Robert Downey Jr needs a spot on my wall.
