The Doctor nodded. “Well, It looks to me you might kind of know right now by the way you’re looking at me.” He continued to smile. “Let us jog your memory, shall we? Hmm… OH! This should help, last you saw me I had a bit of a different…look.” He told her, gesturing to himself.
“Yes I did, why? Where were you supposed to go?” He looked at her concerned. She seemed upset about the year, but what for?
Rose blinked at him as he gestured to himself and it suddenly clicked. Her mouth fell open slightly. Clearly 11 years really did make a big difference. “…Doctor?”
The Doctor grinned. “That’d be me. Sorry I couldn’t keep the hair…doesn’t look quite right on this face..” He chuckled. “But I think I look pretty good anyway.” He gripped his jacket smiling happily at Rose.
“Blimey…” Rose murmured to herself as she looked him over. Obviously, it wasn’t the first time she’d seen him change but she doubted she would ever get used to it.
Even if it wasn’t the Doctor she was expecting, it was still the Doctor. She threw herself at him, hugging him tightly and closing her eyes.
“2008 was when I was suppsoed to..land” She murmrued into his shoulder in explanation. “I guess a lot has changed since then.”
The Doctor sighed happily the moment Rose came in contact with his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes. He missed her so much.
“2008? I’d say you’re a bit off then, hm?” He replied. “Yeah, but really, not too bad I suppose.”
Eleven held Rose at arm's length. “Look at you, you’re still just as beautiful as ever.” He gushed. He couldn’t stop smiling. He couldn’t get over the fact that she really was right in front of him after all this time.
