A, for me, hidden gem in a lesser known area called Puiselet Le Paradis. During easter when the franchards are, quite literally, filled to the brim with folks from all over, it’s pretty amazing to have an area to yourself. We didn’t see a single unfamiliar face all day. Also nice to touch sandstone that has not had it’s friction decimated by years of unrelenting use of pof.
Anna Gref on Léane, 7B.
Long time since my last post, been broken (literally).
Here’s my friend Herman on one of the most unforgiving 6C’s in all of Fontainebleau (possibly the world).
Vengeance du Triceps, Petit Bois
Nothing summons a try-hard face like an aggressively sloping edge on a hot summers day.
Here’s an oldie from Rocklands. Steve contemplating on the condition of the skin on his fingertips after giving them a beating on Black Mango Chutney in 8 Day Rain.
Rille on the Rhino-esque Titanic in bouldering paradise (Sundsvall) from the world renowned Bodin’s Bootcamp, 2018 edition.
I swear there’s a climber in there somewhere...
Andreas Almqvist on a freshly brushed project south of Stockholm. It’s cool man.
Kajsa Rosén trying her best to hold on to the truly super cool arête Blanka in Uppsala. The summer heat that has hit much of Sweden the last few weeks did not help one bit, but we kept spirits high and scribbled it down on the to-do list for the crisp days of the future.
It was a warm day my friends. Like scorching. No, seriously, it was very hot.
Not much success in terms of getting up, the rock had all the advantages. But it was a good day nevertheless. Kajsa Rosén gave it all to Drömfabriken, but was left empty handed. One for the future.
Minna Almqvist on a fresh piece of possibly gneiss down in the dirty south of Stockholm this weekend.
Some unrelenting work with the trusty piassava revealed a tall, and delicate line on some rock solid rock for the brave and humble. Minna was just short of snatching the FFA (First Frivolous Ascent), as an unknown red headed underground high ball connoisseur beat her to the punch. Fun times were had by all.
Reaching for the weekend like
Minna, hanging on to Svinalängan 7C, Mörkös hjärta. The picture looks nice and all, but conditions were wet and warm. Like a sweaty embrace that kicks you in the head. Just kidding. It was ok.
Robert on a veeery nice and cool and good 7C called Lagotto in Uppsala. It’s like, wow, man.
Recently decided to emigrate from Vimeo to Youtube. While I like Vimeo better in some ways, it does not seem feasible to pay for Plus membership just to keep my videos on there. On the bright side, Youtube is more lax with copyrighted content in their videos, so I can publish this old one from 2014 in Magic Wood.
What a time that was to be alive. Going to publish more content to youtube every now and then. Subscribe if you like it.
Sometimes the rock fights back. Sometimes oftentimes. Smörfinger 8A-ish, Uppsala.
Herman the humble tank engine, choo’ing away and making short work of this nice one. Fueled by a few rays of spring sun breaking through the forest roof, turning the freezing temps to his advantage, he rises, an unstoppable machine.
Smooth Operator 8A, Mörkö
