a litigious old fella
This week, our heroes face an unpleasant ethical dilemma, a minimally pleasant ghostly ballroom, and a much more pleasant and talented individual. The dangers of Denbury Grange are starting to feel easily surmounted, but are they being soothed into a false sense of security?
Find out if they’re just Moving to the Melody!
This week on Questfall, the homunculus named Hench proves disinterested in negotiations, as he summons a giant minotaur to do battle with our heroes. Tryst slows things down, Sichora gets a belly piercing, and Niro gets into a shouting match with an old man, in:
Henchmen!
Facing down the Rood Door, the group gets embroiled in an argument about who has the best knockers and our heroes’ relative experience with knobs. Tryst engages in oneupmanship, Stacey is careless with his secrets, and the lost Hench is finally found - not terribly happy to see them.
Check it out in Improper Portals!
very good d&d goof: a character rolling for a skill check that they have a negative mod with, them rolling a low number, and going “that’s a 3, BUT with my mod, that becomes a 2″
also a good d&d goof: a character rolling for a skill check that they have a VERY negative mod with, rolling silently, looking up and saying “negative 1″
Awakening to a house more still than Denbury Grange has ever been, Sichora works with Hravian to lift some of the miasma left by Visimir and comes to a timeshare agreement on her shield - the last key to the arcane door. Knowing they can’t open it until they lift the trap on the house, our heroes proceed towards the heart of the house, only to be waylaid by a cat that’s not quite a cat.
All that and more in this week’s episode - Laid to Rest!
The Coven has honoured their deal with Sichora and moved to destroy Vizimir the Chainer, but the fight seems to be going badly. Can our heroes make it to the battle in time to save Nizog and Oreissa from the brutal chain devil?
Find out in this week’s episode: Chain of Fools!
Riding high from the defeat of the Denburys, our heroes fly on toward the next foe - only to find they are ill prepared for the heat of battle as they scramble to face down the Firestorm!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Questfall!
Though it might not be as raucous as usual, we hope you’re all staying safe out there. And we wish the luck of the Irish on all your dice!
I made an awful little tag-yourself meme in MS Paint instead of planning for my one-shot that’s in an hour. Tag your DMs and call them out on how cool they are!
This week on Questfall, it's the fight we’ve all been waiting for!
Our heroes finally face off against The Denburys and their army of ghostly spectres, battling to take back the grange, free Hravian’s soul, and retrieve the mysterious pendant floating around Mrs. Denbury’s neck.
fuck ‘good’, ‘neutral’ and ‘evil’, the only d&d alignments that actually matter are ‘mom’, ‘edgy’ and ‘stupid’

Team Clanky-Lights is doffing their armour for a well-earned break this International Women’s Day!
We love Tryst and Sichora, but we also want to celebrate the hardworking real-life women who make the Questfall podcast possible: Alex, Megan and Mimi!
“In the same way that your heart feels and your mind thinks, you, mortal beings, are the instrument by which the universe cares. If you choose to care, then the universe cares. If you don’t, it doesn’t.”
