description of Kim's signiture work.

he uses his own experience and other peoples experience to create his minimalistic art works. What i find interesting about this piece is that he got the skin colour of friends, family and strangers and sat and matched the il paint to their skin colour. 

what i take from this work is that it is categorizing people with one colour. to me this shows the experience of racism as you cannot be one solid colour. 

I find that the colour range is interesting as they are all different hues and tones.

this music video shows the type of video i would like to create with my work and my photographs and give the same effects as the video. the video originally caught my eye as i thought it was different to other music videos and it gave me a nostalgic vibe including the music to it.

i have experimented with how to create a gif using photoshop from a youtube video that i have watched on youtube. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qtar5T13dt8) This was my result using the motion images that i have done previously for my live collage project using the projector.

Modern Stereoscopic photographs

In a blog post by Shannon Polugar fir AAU Lens it mentions about the modernisation of the historical camera that was once used as a toy. but today this type of photography was recreated by modern photographers such as Ignacio Torres, who does the effect only using a DSLR camera and softwares to put them together.

What i am planning to do to my photographs. I would need to take new photos and use someone for this shoot as i am not able to this on my own. But this is the effect that i am trying with my work. (via GIPHY)

Fashion Editorial Collages

i have decided to start making collages inspired by Thecuadro as his work was what inspired me the most to start working in this way. I like the way the cut-outs have worked out and i like that i have used images that contrast each other, either with the colours i have used or the way the image is laid out.
