It was a pretty magical time Other things I've done include co-founding UrbanBaby, working at a Hollywood studio and talent agency, managed a Manhattan bar, tried to start a bike business when I was too young to pull it off I've invested in some awesome startups and quality people I'm currently a co-chair on the Tech4Obama Committee, register to vote here I have an amazing wife and friend Susan and two kids I adore Claire and Beckett After a brief failed experiment living in the suburbs, we just moved back to New York City

Hey everyone! I have an exciting and slightly overwhelming milestone to share with you:

Tumblr has broken into the Top 10 sites in the U.S., and now has a worldwide audience of 170 million people.

This isn’t meant to be a brag – though you should definitely try our new Android and iOS apps if you haven’t yet – but a credit to all of your brilliant creative efforts. You guys have earned an audience bigger than the biggest TV networks, and you continue to make some of the most thought provoking, insightful, inspiring, funny, diverse, and compelling content being created today.

It is truly a privilege to build products for you, and we are humbled every day by all the amazing ways you use them.

Scratch that: I anxiously published this post this morning, not sure if we would hold on to the #10 spot when the rankings refreshed this afternoon.

Turns out the holiday pushed us to #9! :)

Congrats to my Mom, 84, and her partner, playing for the Southern 80's team, won all four doubles matches and medaled today at the National Intersectional's Tennis Tourney in San Antonio, Tx.

Forget about medals I just hope to be alive at that point :-
