Reencounter was a theme that I always kept coming back to on this film. I wanted to decompress the pre-existing notions of two symbolic characters and present them in a way that showed their vulnerabilities and flaws in relation to their environment. Their outfits are just another way of saying "i'm here, this is who I am" . Combining a history of different creative backgrounds I produced and directed the fashion film below. I collaborated with a group of creative artists I was not only proud to recruit but lucky to work with, including a special shoutout to my editor, photographer and friend Devin Schiro. INITIO tells the story of a re-encounter between Adam & Eve after having been dispatched from the garden of Eden. After years without seeing each other, Adam and Eve have made costumes out of their own skin and using elements from their environment, also crafted accessories as well. My message for INITIO has always been about being comfortable in your own skin, your own scars, your own feelings, and feel proud of your personal expressions. I hope you enjoy.
