Yokohama is located just south of Tokyo. The China town here is about 150 years old. Today only a few Chinese people still live in Chinatown, but it has a population of about 4,000 and is one of the largest China towns in Asia. In 1859, Yokohama opened up its sea port and many Chinese immigrants arived and formed settlements.
