my girlfriend is a huge resident evil fan, so i was forced to watch her playthroughs of resident evil 2 and resident evil 4 an unreasonable amount of times (especially re4). anyway. i didn’t think i’d become a leon/ada stan but their dynamic? it reminded me of minchan in all the best kinds of wrong ways. i thought i was free and then resident evil requiem dropped and dragged me back into the apocalypse 😅😅

I drew this piece for my birthday which was actually a month ago. it was supposed to be Lee Know and Bang Chan, but the likeness didn’t quite come through so now it could be anyone lol

the idea behind it came from a detective AU that kept circling in my head while I was sketching. in that AU, Chan is a painter suspected of a series of brutal murders and Minho is the detective trying to catch him

but who’s the real villain here? 🤓 maybe the fact that Chan’s paintings seem to predict the crime scenes isn’t enough to prove his guilt. and maaaybe the detective has darker secrets than he’s letting on 👀🔪
