OP is right. Yall treat hoodoo like a commodity as if it’s not its own cultural milieu with a fully formed cosmology and way of life. Yall want to larp as the ancestors and the culture but reject the way of life and values. It’s like people who pretend that Hoodoo is not Christian. The primary sources don’t matter, the records don’t matter, the very ancestors themselves don’t matter it’s just being “witchy” or whatever.
