Note to self: Get Dawn to send Mike a card.
So....what's the plan now?
Good bloody question. Sooooo...in light of recent events, I will be changing the name of this blog later today to Johnson PR. No longer will this blog praise the Wankmaster-General himself, Colin Gundersen. Thank God. Johnson PR will be moving on...got any clients that need representing? We've kinda hit a dry spot. I do also want to thank users inbroadwayvalley and theokayishgastby in helping me set up this blog. I'm not AS technologically inept as my cousin Olaf, but Tumblr was a new turf for me. I might keep at it for a while.
The Government Communications Security Bureau and Related Legislation Amendment Bill has passed at its third reading.
Colin wants to make Auckland a safer place. But what do you think?
White Island volcano has erupted this morning, sending large plumes of steam into the sky.
It's like the papal conclave - it's the sign that a new mayor is on its way to Auckland...
Anders Anders your face sir
"hai Ty"
What's wrong with my face? It's a beautiful face!
Auckland's Town Hall filled with hundreds of supporters to hear legal experts and Opposition politicians speak out against the GCSB bill tonight.
It's great to see people getting engaged in matters that are important to them! Colin Gundersen wishes to have more public consultation on the issues that matter to Aucklanders.
How would you feel if Ty decided to compete against Colin and run for Mayor. Would you switch sides and be your favourite brother's campaign manager?
Ahh, another week in politics - looks like this question will be just the beginning of what lies ahead!
Ty running for mayor? I’m going to be frank, here - I’d never considered the possibility. I suppose he has the ability to keep his cool, which is useful for a mayor, but I wasn’t aware he had political aspirations.
He’d make an interesting mayor. I know he has some thoughts on energy policy. Plus, he’s in touch with transport issues - he can connect with cyclists AND car drivers (I hope he doesn’t LITERALLY connect with cars, however, that would be unfortunate)!
If he were to run for mayor, I think he’d be better off asking Dawn first. Ty and I disagree on the best way to put the pedal to the metal at the best of times.
Although he HAS been a small business owner in the past, that went bust and I wouldn’t necessarily trust him with a $3 billion annual budget.
I take my job very seriously, and that extends to the loyalty that I hold for those I work for.
You have to bear in mind that if I were to switch, I would be leaving Colin out in the cold. And I don’t wish to burn any bridges, which would no doubt occur were I to switch.
My feelings aren’t exactly relevant to the campaign at hand. I am a professional, and I have been employed to perform a job. The current contract I have to be Colin Gundersen’s campaign manager is watertight. However. Who I work for doesn’t restrict on my civil right and ability to vote. I still retain that freedom.
Ah, it makes such a refreshing change to not have to witness Ty in bike shorts delivering our important mail.
in which someone doesn’t want Colin to become mayor.
Ah, but you'll find that in this case, the devil may actually care.
I'm thinking of planning a trip to the States next year...
Mike sent a message to the wrong person. I'll be sure to pass on the dinner date details to Ty...
Photos I took of clownfish at Kelly Tarlton’s.
An interview with the CURRENT mayor of Auckland, Len Brown. But our vision burns brighter.
More pictures from the launch. Dawn gets her moment in the spotlight.
