Res-Life: the Musical

A vibrant musical about love and finding a place to belong - all set in the upbeat world of a college residence hall.

Hello fellow Res-Life community members!

I am a resident advisor and film student at Chapman University in southern California. I am currently working with a talented team to create Res-Life: the Musical - a vibrant short film about love and finding a place to belong - all set in the upbeat world of a college residence hall.

Unfortunately, we can’t bring the project to life unless we raise $4000. We have just launched a three-week Kickstarter campaign to fund the film and are reaching out to the Res-Life community at large to help with crowd funding.

This film is near and dear to my heart. We’ve crafted a story that could only take place in Res-Life - but its message of finding your own path and being true to yourself is completely universal. Plus, it's just plain fun (complete with clipboard dancers)!

If there is anyway that you can help us spread excitement and gather support, we would really appreciate your help. Please help us make something magical!

I swear to all that is rhythmic and holy, Beyonce has created something of such monumental pop-cultural importance that the word “masterpiece” barely begins to describe this visual album.

I am in fucking awe — of her, of her music, of her videos — all of it. I’ve had these songs for less than a day, and they’ve already made me laugh, cry, and dance my face off, sometimes all three at once.
