Hey there, kind of a stupid question, since my only knowledge about MAKING (not listening though, cause, oh man, I was raised on an amiga with a lot of demoscene floppy discs with tracker music and demos as a child) tracker music is quite lacking and only messed around wit Open ModPlug Tracker and FastTracker, while using pre-made samples that were included in them, or ripped them from another tracker song. How do you make those samples in furnace tracker exactly?!? I've seen them available in the sample bank, and tried to use them, but from looking at some sample songs those artist tend to even create their own, using this really confusing menu, and I'm just unsure if I'm using normal samples correctly? Or are you just using a website that has a massive sample bank for old video game consoles?

i have archives of both pre-existing presets and ripped some of my own as well, but for furnace specifically you're going to need to open the samples window > load (> "load raw data..." if needed like for .brr files like the snes)

there will be a sample editor once you click on a sample and you can edit its loop points, and you can make it an instrument using the highlighted button (in yellow)

hopefully this isn't too vague and can get you on your way (and if you did find it when i was inactive, congratulations!)

hi! i've been studying your stuff for a long time now, esp your snes stuff (my personal hyperfixation chip). where do you set your echo parameters in furnace? i usually don't see them in the main sheet or your instruments. thank you so much!!

it's in your chip manager window, not sure why it's there but it sure as hell is

furnace likes hiding actual chip features in these windows keep your eyes peeled i didn't find the wavetable window for MONTHS
