Last year we were asked to put out a split with our friend empireempireband on one of our favorite labels, runforcoverrecords out of Boston. We were estatic and honored to a. be releasing a split with a band that has supported and influenced us greatly, and b. to have a label like Run For Cover want to back it.

In September of 2013 we were on a tight deadline to have the songs recorded and sent to be mastered. Sadly, our good friend Mark Gustafson (who has produced and recorded almost everything we have done minus Summer Months) was on tour with his band Super Super and was unavailable.

Our good friend Matthew Frank of Their / They're / There and Lifted Bells offered to help us, and record us on a Saturday night, in the middle of an already all weekend recording session with another band.

In 5 hours, we managed to record the two songs you hear on this split, consume a thirty pack of Miller High Life, smoke pack(s) of cigarettes, and eat two large Little Caesars pizzas with pepperoni. It was disgusting.

Anyway, thank you for everyone for being so patient and wanting to hear this split. It's been almost two years in the making and we couldn't be more excited to share it with you.
