Allow me to set the scene,

The year: 2020. The weather: warm enough to give us that perfect summer glow. The event of the season: The Bailey-Warren wedding that happened over the weekend at the Woodstock Cottage.

All eyes should have been on the blushing bride finally marrying the love of her life. After-all, weddings only happen once or twice in a girl’s life - three times if they are lucky. And for the wedding, the attention was mostly on the happy couple. But at the reception? Well some of my lovely sources have made a note of pointing out that the oh-so-dreamy Derek Shepherd snuck out of the festivities early. With a date like Addison Montgomery, we all would have made up some excuse to book a room at the Palace. Long flowing hair, red lips that match the color of her dress just perfectly-oh my bad. The women Derek left with had none of those qualities. This vixen had tousled ombre hair and was carrying a glass of champagne in one hand and her heels in the other. And she goes by the name of one Meredith Grey. Was it only just yesterday that she was copying our homework at Constance Billard and showing up to the SATs with a hangover? Oh how the mighty have graduated - to rendezvous with UES’ most eligible ineligible bachelor. If only someone had told us that McDreamy was open to fatal attractions. We could have put on our best Gucci lipstick and picked out our tightest little dresses. Here’s hoping we don’t become casualties when Big Red finds out. I wouldn’t want to be in Medusa’s shoes when she does.
