sad the leafy fandom died...It was like really popular in 2016
for a while it was a new outlet for a lot of people to come together and make shitposts and weird edits and it was fun while it lasted around the summer of 2016. i’m not really sad it ended, but i’m glad it happened.
even if leafy didn’t go on hiatus i don’t think it would’ve survived; there was no major cult following and a lot of fans didn’t like the politically incorrect lines he crossed (which... in my opinion.......... ya really didn’t see it coming? from this bastard? holding him to a moral standard is like using a fishnet as a bucket)
i can’t say for sure where everyone went. i know a lot of other leafy blogs were close with each other but i never really was. if anyone who ran a leafy blog reads this: what’s good? what’s your current hyperfixation? what made you leave? i’m endlessly curious
i signed into this old leafy blog of mine just to respond to this!
i stopped watching leafy just a little bit before his hiatus. his content of course was really repetitive so it wasn’t that hard to leave him behind. i’m not really a fan of his new content and i find his behavior on twitter to just be cringe (personal opinion of course). my current hyperfixations are basically the complete opposite of who leafy was as a content creator and i don’t really actively follow one youtuber anymore like i did with him!
he was good for what he did for me personally many years ago. i did enjoy his content for what it was even if it was just the same stuff over and over. it was familiar to me during a time in my life when i needed it. whatever he’s got going on now i wish him well!
