It’s really difficult being a performer right now in today’s climate. Half of my brain is telling me that it’s time to hang up my shoes and to focus on getting a permanent job that keeps me in one place and has a bit more security. The other half of my brain keeps telling me there is a light at the end of this long ass tunnel. Either way, I feel for all of you performers out there, and really anyone who is having to teeter-totter their future and not only think about the tough decisions, but also make those tough decisions. I’m thinking of you and I’m proud of all of you.
