I didn't know all this information about YouTube. It's owned by Google, who purchased it back in 2006 for $1.65 Billion. They're struggling to make it profitable because it does not cost users to view or upload videos. They mainly get their profits from advertising, which is ads on the pages or an advertisement before a video.

I feel like Google is taking over the world! Eli's point regarding Google and their search engines just fascinated me. The amount of time and machines to generate your search results is based off of 57 signals! Your web browser, search history or the computer you're using and many more. The first and only search engine I ever use is Google and I feel it is the same for many other people as well.

I thought the video was short and to the point. I would never take the advice, but a new user of facebook may. I know sometimes I sit and think I haven’t had a updated status in a long time, but what do I say? I feel like the video is making people be too pushy or “annoying” on facebook with pointless statuses just because they want people to comment on them so they get those red notifications! Again, short and sweet video that I would recommend to a new facebook user.
