no worries if you dont want to share but i hear talks of an au featuring drifter, mina, and doorman and i am immediately interested <3 my blorbo blinkuses my skrunkly scrimblos <3 i hope they are all suffering immensely

(visibly shaking) bro i would love to talk about it, even if just a little. it's mainly character studies on how i read my favorites from deadlock (drifter, mina and doorman) ((yes in that order)). it's wholly the same lore as in-game, with a canon divergence after mina gets turned- so it's a few years before the maelstrom. she eventually flees her home when the abnormal hunger gets too much and she ultimately goes neglected. from there, she gets roped into drifter's backwards world and caught up in his uhhh Situation with doorman. it's super self indulgent and filled to the brim with headcanons, but i wanted to flesh the characters out with how i interpret them since the characterization in the game can be very elusive (this is a good thing!!! i love all of the deadlock roster it's so fun). i've made some illustrations for myself and typed up drabbles of scenes for it, safe to say it's consumed almost all of my brain lol
