So. My penguin is already kind of locked in more or less with her riddler. And my first thoughts on penguin and joker were “penguin almost above everything hates being laughed at and joker loves a good joke at someone else’s expense so this is horrific untenable yuri.” But. They both take pleasure in the suffering of others. They both like dramatic and convoluted schemes. And there is basis in the comics for them getting along when their business interests are aligned. Penguin is order to jokers chaos… much to ponder

I have them in my au as rivals, and penguin kind of hates her for how unpredictable she is. She is a bit of a control freak and joker is someone she can’t control, on top of joker being a chaos agent and prone to attacking both sides (Batman/the police and the other rogues) because it’s funny. She has sabotaged a few of penguins business ventures in the past. Basically penguin wants to kill her and joker likes to make her mad

This blog has seem to have a random boost of "popularity" as of a late. Apologies for not drawing them for almost a year now, my mind is set on a whole different fandom and i rather not "force" myself to draw something (even though joker and penguin ARE my favs!) and it come out like.... With no love behind it.
